We committed and signed up for a 3 month trial period and it took my son 2 months to consistently get on the mat and participate. But once he broke through the barrier of his nerves, he was on the mat consistently and learned a lot about self confidence, self reliance, a good work ethic, discipline and so much more. He's made connections and friendships within the academy that have given a sense of community, support and acceptance. It's been a truly transformative experience for our youngest and an answer to many prayers!
