I've done several catamaran cruises in Maui and wanted to try something different. Jet Ski Maui was the perfect choice. As a first-time jet skier, the staff made everything easy and fun. The short boat ride to Jet Ski Island was quick, the 45 minutes on the water flew by, and the photos turned out great. The weather was a little rainy and overcast, but I actually appreciated the break from the Maui sun after getting a bit too much of it the day before. There are cubbies available on Jet Ski Island, so feel free to bring along anything you'd like easy access to during your visit. This was our second time booking with Maui Jet Ski, our first was back in 2023 and once again, we had an amazing experience! Lugi was our boat guide again, and he's just the best. Super friendly, helpful, and makes the whole experience fun and easy. I wish I had gotten the names of the guys on deck because they were awesome too, friendly, easygoing, and made everything run smoothly. We also purchased the photo package, which was totally worth it. The price was great and it takes all the stress out of trying to get your own shots. Our group of 10 had a phenomenal time. We all wished we could do it again the next day. So fun!!! The wave runners can't crash into one another because they slow down if someone gets too close. That made me feel safe about my teenage children out there on their own wave runner. I quickly learned to keep my distance from people because that did get a little frustrating when a stranger would get too close and then my wave runner would need a few seconds to go again. The dinghy boat ride to the jet ski dock in the AM was so cool. We had dolphins swimming with us, next to us, all around us, that alone was such a treat and super special. Me and my grandpa picked this company for jet skis as they were right by our resort. You meet them by the red and white umbrellas by leilani's restaurant. From there Chaz called in the zodiac boat where they then take you to the jet skis platform. They got us all checked in and paid for and got us right on the jet skis. They offer a mini photo shoot for I believe around $70. You ride for 45 minutes then they make your jet skis beep to call u in. The staff is really nice and cool and we tipped them. If you are looking for jet skis to ride choose these people they are the best. Also the jet skis can go up to 50mph :) read more

Fantastic experience. I was a little worried about some of the low Yelp reviews, but our experience with Pacific Jet Sports was exceptional. I booked online for two singles. I got the confirmation email, followed the instructions in it to meet outside the white/red umbrella on the sand in front of Leilani's restaurant at the village. The two staff there were friendly and professional. We signed a waiver then got situated on a dingy boat that took us to the jet ski island, something straight out of Waterworld. It's about a 5 minute ride, and pretty exciting too if you ask me. Apparently jet ski island has been anchored there for over 20 years. Make sure you use the restroom before going to jet ski island as they have no facilities there. Once on jet ski island, the staff walk you through everything you need to know. You sign another waiver form, and take care of payment if you haven't already. Then after that, you're off in your jet ski. There's a simple watch on each jet ski with an inaccurate time that you can reference to know when you need to bring it back in (45 min or whatever). If you haven't jet ski'd before, I would suggest watching some YouTube videos ahead of time so that you are a qualified operator. The directions here are to stay within the bounds of the two orange buoys - one a half mile towards Maui and the other a half mile towards Lanai. Everyone is basically going clockwise in a triangle for the entire time. Make sure you don't bunch up with other riders, including those in your own party. When you're done, you bring the jet ski back from the rear side and they'll help reel you in. Gather your belongings from the cubbies, and you're on your way back to Maui. There's a $75 photo package available to purchase if you want. You don't get photos unless you request it first, so you can't wait until afterwards to decide. The price is per group, so more worth it for a group to get. The delivery is via a google photos link. Honestly the photos aren't the best from a photography perspective, but they're the only ones you can get in motion. No video included in the photo package. No GoPro mounts on the jet skis. Overall a great time and wouldn't hesitate to do again. read more

My group and I decided to do something fun before leaving Maui and I am super glad we decided to do Jet Ski. This was a last minute decision so we booked a couple hours before online and were sent a confirmation with the info for our jet skis. You will need to arrive 30 mins before your designated time. NOTE: If you are not staying at one of the resorts. Park at the Whalers Village Shopping Center. It is super close to the beach spot. It is paid parking and cost 4 bucks per half and hour. There is no validation so I recommend buying something at the abc store (Min. $15 dollar purchase) or a store at the center rather than paying the full amount. The ABC store validated 1 hour and only had to pay $4 bucks. Once you park, they have a little umbrella set up in red and white stripes on the sand. They are placed right in front of Leilani. From there they will have you sign some waivers. Then you will wait for a small boat to take you to the little island where they dock their jet skis. The ride was about about a 6 min boat ride. Since the tide was high a guy drove us to another spot further away to hop on the boat. Once we got there, we hopped off the boat and and we're given more waivers to fill out. Then we went to the front and got a demonstration about safety and how to maneuver the boat. They only allow you to go clockwise in a circle with the triangle set up they have for you. Price was 45 mins for about $111 bucks with taxes for a single rider. I enjoyed that it was 45 mins when you hopped on the jet ski. They even have a little clock on the vehicle so you can watch the clock. However some people in my group had clocks that were not the correct time and were off. They also have an option to pay for pictures with their photographer but we opted out. We weren't able to take any photos but not sure if you can even bring the phone out with you on the jet ski. Overall. Great experience to end the vacation off. Also make sure to put on sunscreen and chapstick!! You will need it! read more
