I had thought this place would be good considering there always busy but it seems their more concerned about quantity rather then quality. I went in for a full acrylic set and wanted a natural nude with black tips. The man who was doing my nails seemed to be rushing, he didn't push back my cuticles or do anything to make them look better, I felt he was rushing the whole time. The paint job is completely uneven and already looks like they've grown out because of how bad he did the acrylics. Mind you I just got them done 5 days ago. Definitely wasn't worth the $55 I paid. read more

I was passing thru town in dire need of a mens pedicure. I read all the bad reviews but thought how do you mess a up mens pedi? They sat me immediately and by the time someone finally showed up the water was cold and my feet looked like prunes! This was the best part, very rushed and then checkout. $32!!!!! Obviously i dont get polish but wow! The lighting is very dim inside after walking outside i figured out why, nails uneven, still dirty in the corners and alot of excess skin. Did i go back in and have them do the job right? No!!!!! Live and learn, now off to a real spa to get this mess cleaned up! read more

I thought this place was gonna be decent just by looking at it so I decided to go and try it out. The place was super clean and nice so I thought I was gonna get a good experience. I in fact did not. When I told the lady if she could do the design I wanted (French tip with glitter) she said yes. She did them very clumpy and the French was so low you can't even see the other part of the nail. Also she was cutting into my cuticle and when I went home they were super red and bleeding a little, she also in fact did not ask me what size I wanted them and the nails were the ones that have a curve, so they came out super long and they had a curve. But if you want to get your toes done, I recommend going here they do them very good.but aside from that,my nails were 80$ for clumpy crooked nails. They were extremely over priced for my nails.Never going again.I don't recommend if you want to get your nails done. in the photos I put what I wanted and what I got. read more

While putting lotion on my arm, the owner guy told me that I need to "eat a burger" implying that I'm too skinny. I am in recovery from a long term eating disorder so this comment did not settle too well with me. I have been here about 5 times as well and every time the workers have attitudes and certainly are not made for customer service jobs. read more

In town for work and found it impossible to find a decent nail salon until I walked into Hi Tek. I got a chair right away as a walk in and the guy did such a good job on my feet. Prices are good. The only downside is they don't have the best selection of colors but I still found one I could live with. read more

I went here with my mom we had appointments mind you. Mine was for a fill and my moms was for a full set. We had to wait over a half hour and when I finally did get to sit down they seemed annoyed that it was a fill (which they commented on) but whatever. They then passed me back and forth between nail techs for the next half hour. 3 of my nails broke off. I will never go back to this place. read more

In the fall of 2019, I traveled from my home North of Pullman,WA to visit my boyfriend here in Hermiston. I was out shopping one day and since I needed my nails done, I stopped in at Hi Tech Nail. I was acknowledged and greeted as soon as I walked thru the door. The Salon is clean and I observed the strictest hygiene practices. The prices are extremely affordable. The owner, Sonny, had an opening and after only a 5-minute wait I received the best nail fill-in I have ever experienced in my 22 years of acrylic nails. Sonny is talented and does quality work. It is the first time In my life I did not experience "burning" pain in my nails when they were shaped with the dremel. Every client receives their own mani or pedicure kit to keep and bring back with them for their personal use at the next appointment. From that day forward, I gave made routine appointments with Sonny for my nails and & also pedicure appointments with other members of his staff. I love receiving the numerous compliments of how pretty my nails are. If you are looking for quality work visit High Tek Nail. Lots of senior citizens, men included, receive their pedicures at the Salon. Sonny, his wife, and staff are friendly and nice. Sonny greets EVERY single customer as they walk into the business and get this... he remembers your first name! Sonny has a great sense of humor and he always makes my day brighter by laughter. As soon as Covid-19 restrictions are lifted, my first appointment will be with Sonny. "Help Sonny" my nails look awful!!!! I did the dip nails, I picked out white and one accent color. My nails were never clipped, evened out, or any hangnails or cuticles pushed back. So I had to go home and file them myself evenly. After the powder was put on they were not smooth but bumpy and uneven so thats all i see now when I look at my nails. Then they added a pink gel clear coat color onto my white color I picked and ended up with light pink nails. Then the gel didn't even cover the back of the powder so it's exposed and I'm waiting for it to break off shortly. Never will I go back. I was charged $49 for the service. I learned my lesson. I've always enjoyed going to this business for pedicures. Last night I had a pedicure date here with my mom. The men who helped us were very friendly and interacted with us. I went home that night and my husband met me at the door. He was on his way out so he went to give me a kiss and as he stepped in towards me he accidentally stepped on my not quite completely dry toes! Over half of my left big toe was now polish free (and his sock had a pretty pink sparkle to the bottom). I went here the next morning hoping they would let me fix the mistake myself. They not only helped me find the polish but fixed it for me. What great service! read more

This was probably the worst experience I've ever had with getting my nails done. The woman didn't remove my skin and when I asked her to she wasn't happy and did a shoddy job, where pieces of skin are literally hanging off. There are even bumps underneath the nails polish from the skin. She didn't apply the base coat underneath the color coat. I've never had a shellac manicure where they didn't. The paint job is uneven and not even to the bottom of my nails. The color coats are noticeably uneven where you can see it darker on parts of the nails. It looks like it's already peeling offand I'm sitting down in the parking lot writing this directly after getting them done. She put lotion on my then dragged my hands across her dirty equipment and counters as she rubbed lotion on and definitely didn't give a massage. I wanted to refuse to pay but that's not how I am so paid $40 for this terrible nail job. That's $10 more than I have paid anywhere else. Total waste of money and my nails look shitty. I came to this place since the other nail salon is always busy and I don't want to wait 45 minutes. I gave this place a chance 3 times. Twice I got a acrylic nails which both sets broke within a week. I don't do anything strenuous with my hands so I don't know why they'd break after a week. The next time I got a manicure with shellac polish and 3 DAYS later the polish chipped. I paid $31 just to have to get my nails done again 3 days later. I'm from Portland where a manicure with shellac is $18-22 and it lasts more than 2 weeks. I will not being coming back, I'd rather drive an hour to tri- cities. read more
