Unbelievably disappointed. Flower order was placed at the beginning of November for my mother's wedding, which was yesterday. We called Hi Way Forist at 1130 and asked what time the flowers would arrive. After several excuses from them about delivery time, 330 pm was finally agreed upon. At 515...15 min prior to the ceremony.. still no flowers. We called the florist and demanded to know where the flowers and arch were. Lady on the phone tells us, I'm sorry we are on the way. Completely unacceptable! The flowers didn't arrive till the ceremony was completely over. Then to top things off, the flowers weren't at all what was ordered. My mother and step-father were given their money back and given excuse after excuse for this mistake. After hearing how reputable this company was we are all very disappointed. read more

Placed an online order for the standard size "Precious Poodle" bouquet for my partner's mother in St. Louis, MO (we're from Canada). We placed the order the night before the requested delivery date, but they also do same day delivery. Overall, very easy and reliable ordering and delivery process - the order arrived within daytime hours on Saturday and we had nothing to worry about. On the order form you can indicate delivery instructions - if the recipient is not home to accept the delivery the florist will try to leave the bouquet with a neighbor unless instructed not to. The actual bouquet looked even BETTER than the picture! Also, I believe Hi Way Florist has one of the LOWEST delivery fees among St. Louis florists. Advice for non-US cardholders: you will need a US credit card with a US billing address to place an online order. This seems to be common for most florists in St. Louis except for Walter Knoll, if I'm remembering correctly? Call the florist in advance to find out if you can use a Canadian billing address for payment to save the hassle of filling out the entire ordering form for nothing. read more

Horrible! I ordered from them last year for mothers day and it was delivered 2 days late! Spoke with a manager she didnt know what happened apologized so i thought id give them a try again this year and what do you know it was not delivered on mothers day like promised, i even called sunday morning to make sure it was ready to go. I can't say enough things about Hi-Way Florists. They went above and beyond when the hospital mistakenly said a friend could receive flowers in her room. After they tried delivering to the hospital and denied. They delivered the flowers to her home a week later after she was released. They were pleasant and very helpful. I've been using the Hi Way florist for some time now, always to get roses for my wife. For the longest time the roses were always very full with big blooms and would open up beautifully and my wife loved them. I don't know why but the last few times I've went the rose blooms just seemed smaller, and the ones I picked up on valentines days barely opened up. I don't know if this is a problem with the flowers themselves or just not being fresh. The workers and service here is top notch, and the vast majority of the time the roses are perfect. read more

My grammy's birthday is on the 4th of July, she's 94, so i decided to send flowers, but i figured most places would either not deliver on a holiday or i'd get screwed on extra delivery charges. My beloved neighbor recommended this place highly to me and now i am passing this lil nugget of wonderful service to all of you- Not only do they deliver on most holidays, but they have great selection, affordably priced, they were thorough, prompt, super courteous and attentive (ordering took less than 10 minutes on my smoke break at work!) but here's the REAL kicker folks- no upcharge for vase or card, AND the delivery charge? $6! I kid you not! $6 delivery charge is unheard of by itself, but on a holiday no less..outstanding! I even checked my credit card statement i couldnt believe it, and sure enough, the price as listed +6. I will never use anyone else again, what a great find, and an extremely pleasant suprise. I have some horrible experience with other companies where the delivery ended up costing as much or more as the gift itself, never never ever again....these folks have got it right!
