Hibiscus Women's Center is exactly what I was looking for, full service women's health care. They even have lab drawing services in their office. Dr. Elhusein is friendly, thorough and informative. She took time to answer all my questions and I didn't feel rushed. The staff are efficient and helpful. I was in and out within a half hour. One important note, located a couple miles away is Hibiscus Women's Care. They are not affiliated this practice. Pregnant mamas highly encourage you to find another practice! The bedside manner is terrible and your needs will not be met. It's very disheartening. I've suffered from depression and anxiety the whole pregnancy and just get brushed aside. I get told I'll get a script for something and it's never received. I got an ultrasound with Kelly and felt like I was just a number. She got me out of there as fast as possible and made the whole thing so negative when I had so many questions and had been so excited to see the baby since it has been months. Impossible to get through to the phones and speak to anyone and when you do there's no appointments available. This is my second time using this practice and I truly regret not finding a better option but too late to switch :-( A few of the midwives are wonderful but unfortunately you will get some random person most likely you have never met for your actual delivery that will call you by a different name your whole labor (that's what happened to me with my first :-( read more

I do not recommend any first time mother to this practice. My entire experience has been horrible and extremely stressful for no reason. I have since transferred to a new doctor who is absolutely wonderful. High level review: terrible communication, zero connection to or concern for patients, incompetent practitioners, unprofessional behavior, and shady business practices resulting in extremely high bills to patients (potentially illegal - have started to look into attorney) Detailed review: My fiancé and I were so excited to go to our first ultrasound appointment and see our little baby! We were rushed through it and thrown wrinkled pictures with zero empathy or personal touch. That should have been my first red flag. Then we start meeting with one of MANY practitioners which is a very confusing and ineffective process that I'll get into later. The lady asks for my medical records from my gynecologist, Dr. Sargent of Reflections (who is wonderful!) and goes on to speak poorly of that office saying how they lost their OB license and that they don't get along with each other. Meanwhile, my gynecologist office said nothing bad at all about Hibiscus when I told them I would be going there when I found out I was pregnant. That's because Dr. Sargent and his office are extremely professional and competent. Additionally, they recommended against a doula and told me to "save the $500 and get a push present". Wow. Great values and way to conduct good, objective business. Throughout the first few visits I was given inaccurate information that created huge stress in my pregnancy for absolutely zero reason except for incompetence and poor business practices. First, I was quoted prices of additional testing (genetic testing and such) that ended up being veryyyyyyy different than what I was actually charged. One bill was supposed to be $250 and it actually was $600. The second bill was supposed to be $250 and the company that Hibiscus partners with sent me a bill for $13,000. Yes, you read that right. My insurance got it down to $1,200. I was still shocked of course so call Hibiscus and they tell me that I need to call the company and negotiate the price bc that's part of "their deal". They never told me that. I don't understand why that would ever be the process, but I did and got it down. This very test caused a lot more stress than it did benefit. At 10 weeks, the doctor read the results of this test and told us we were having a girl. Awesome! We started planning the room, picked out a name, and of course starting buying things for our baby girl. At 20 weeks (yes over 2 months later!), we were in an ultrasound and they were asking us a lot of questions about the gender and who told us the gender. We pulled up the video we took of the hibiscus professional telling us we were having a girl and they then informed us that the doctor read the results wrong and that we were in fact having a boy. Wow, what a mindset shift and a waste of a lot of time and money! Still, not the end of the world. We are resilient, rational people and can handle this. Of course, we asked for a refund for the $250 test (originally billed at $13,000) since hibiscus read it wrong. They said, "Absolutely! Just send us the bill and we'll take care of it." It's been almost 5 months of me calling them to figure out this bill as the company continues to call me every day hoping to collect their money. Hibiscus refuses to answer or return calls or emails. They continue to tell me they are "looking into it". I've had to go over the situation with different people in the office numerous times and have yet to receive any actual help. Finally, at our 30 week appointment they still didn't know my name or the sex of the baby. I mean come on, I don't expect you to remember every patient, but you could at least review the chart to make this experience a little more special. We were still meeting new doctors each visit with the possibility of 12 doctors being the ones to deliver us. I'm so thankful I was able to get into Dr. Foster as my entire experience with him and his office has been absolutely fabulous. I felt more connected to him and his nurse the very first visit than I did with 30 weeks of pregnancy at Hibiscus. They have provided clear, objective, and educated information that has helped me to understand the labor and delivery process as well as to help me make the best decisions for me. If you are looking to be treated like a number and get in and get out with zero consultation and medical help, then hibiscus may be for you. I wanted a real doctor that could help me and guide me through my pregnancy journey without lies and deceit and additional financial stress...hibiscus was not for me. read more

I researched ALOT new to the area, tried to trust my Gut as it looks like amazing women work here and I don't doubt that they aren't. But I called and said I would like a wellness exam and to speak with a doctor about trying to get pregnant. They were over a month out so on my date. I was very excited to get some answers. I was brought in the back room sat for 30 minutes told I have infertility just by word no tests were done. I was confused I'm like aren't I getting a wellness exam they said not today we just scheduled a consultation. You'll have to schedule the wellness exam next time. I left confused but a little hopeful until then they charged me $350 bill in the mail. They did not do one test on me!!! My jaw was on the ground at how much money they could possibly charge when nothing even had happened. I think that in my future visits I would not recommend going here that is astronomically high and I've read others stressed with this at this practice . Maybe if I had gotten blood work test run or was told something useful but I feel completely scammed. read more

My 16 year old went to dr Libby tonight and came home in tears . I definitely 100% don't recommend this place . She was rude and unprofessional and will definitely be hearing from me and my wife (witch is a nurse also ) . Who talks to kids the way they do . What a disgrace, on top of that my ex wife went the same time and was treated the same way . She felt so uncomfortable and was talked down too . DO NOT TAKE YOUR DAUGHTER THERE. Or anyone for that matter . Oh they also said you have too many questions and i have other patients. Who in the" supposedly " medical profession does this . I experienced horrible treatment there. Doctors rolling their eyes at me, for no apparent reason and threatened to call CPS on me for no reason because I refuse to take shots that they just made. only been there twice and they charge me $500. I currently just woke up to them taking $400 from my back account. I canceled appointments with them a month ago and found me a new doctor so there is no reason for them to charge me $400 which is to feed my family now they won't even give me a call back.. so I advise you and your current mothers do not go there. Do not spend your money there. They are going to drain your pockets even if you're not with them no more and it doesn't matter how educated you are they will make you feel dumb. the older doctors there are nice but the younger doctors are very extremely rude and mean. I will never go back there and if they keep taking my money I'm going to court!! Do not go there! read more

I'm a high risk pregnancy because of a previous birth at 23weeks. The office considered my case and agreed to be our provider. We see Dr Perry and we just love her! Unfortunately because of the previous emergency cesarean I am not a candidate for a VBAC. But after talking with Dr Perry I feel less nervous about having another cesarean. She has explained the delivery plan with us, and exactly what a gentle cesarean will be like. I get weekly injections of hormones to help prevent pre term labor. It was kind of a pain getting these shots ordered, I guess the company that makes the medication is notoriously difficult . But I didn't have to deal with any of that, Jane handled all of it for me. The contact through the process was great. I get the shots from Candace in the lab and she is great too! I have never had a bad interaction with any of the staff, everyone is so friendly! I was concerned about something over the holiday break and was still able to get in contact with a NP. I was apologetic for asking questions outside of regular hours and was told that they were ALWAYS there for me no matter what! The patient portal is also ALWAYS there showing me all of my lab work and test results. read more

Terrible service. Said I needed a authentication required from my insurance. Two weeks later called my insurance there was no authentication received and turns out that no authentication was every required. Called them and they never called back. I went in for my first visit waited 2 hours and spent only 10 minutes with the doctor with NO examination. Waste of time read more

I am retired RN. Believe it or not, humans were able to get physician care without religion in my day. I'd NEVER go back, to be judged by the terms of christianity rather than my medical needs again. That is a perversion of the physician/patient relationship. UGH read more

I will never recommend this place to anyone. I normally don't grant terrible reviews unless they are needed, but I feel like this is the case. First off, I experienced a very high spike in blood pressure during my pregnancy at 16 weeks. The midwife told me technically I had high blood pressure since before the pregnancy because it was earlier than 20 weeks. I never had high blood pressure prior and I mentioned that, but she wrote that down anyways. We were arguing about that - while my blood pressure was still insanely high, making my situation even worse. Most unprofessional office visit I have ever experienced. I transferred later due to a move and the OBGYN ruled it was pregnancy high blood pressure once I had my son and my blood pressure returned to normal. I moved back to the area and wanted to schedule a well visit. I had to be called back, and when they did they were going to make me wait almost 2 months to be seen. 2 months to be seen?! Trust me the place is not that great, so I called another OB and was seen within the week. Lesson learned, I am never going back there again. read more

They missed fibroids, ovarian cysts, and endometriosis when I complained numerous times of the pain I was having. They brushed me off and told me it was a normal part of my cycle. The yearly well womans exam didn't always include a pap test. They seemed to come up with excuses why they didn't need to do one for about 4 years. I never actually saw any doctor in my 5 years of going here. I always saw a midwife. I felt judged and looked down on for not being pregnant. I was not able to get pregnant and I was referred to a fertility Dr who diagnosed all my problems that I mentioned above. Thank God for him. I would never recommend Hibiscus Women's care to anyone who has any concern about their health. read more

Avoid Dr Zylman she is on a mission to convert Gyn patients to her end-of-times Christian philosophy. Most unprofessional office visit of my life. However, the staff is wonderful. Dr. Mary Perry is the best I have ever encountered. Coming from Northern Virginia to Florida, she has helped me within 4 months to get my life back to normal. Nobody in VA noticed internal bleeding and treated me for something else. Dr. Perry knew there was something that needed to be done fast. When Dr. Wagaman and the original Doctors were here they were an excellent practice. Now they don't care about your well being, just their pockets. Dr. Liddy ordered tests that were not necessary, nor did she tell me that those test would cost over $1,000. The Doctor knew I was self pay. I would not recommend. read more

I had an AWESOME experience with Hibiscus Women's Care. I decided to switch providers at the beginning of my second pregnancy because I was not happy with how my delivery went with Dr. Raup, so I switched to Hibiscus women's Care. I'm so glad I did because the the midwives at Hibiscus women's care were amazing. They provided a ton of support during labor and were extremely encouraging. They were not pushy about an epidural or medication, so I was able to have the natural delivery I always wanted with them. It was a complete 180 from the care I had with my previous provider. They allowed me to walk around and move during delivery, whereas with my first the Dr and nurses prevented me from moving around at all and made me lay on my back. My initial visit was great! I saw Jamie Triolo. The billing process and communication was awful. They were telling me I had to pay $900+ to have my procedure done when my insurance company informed me all was covered at 100%. My insurance company had to get involved. They offer the patient portal but communication on that is awful trying to schedule an appt. Or ask questions. I was directed to call to schedule an appt. When I called I had to leave a message. The person who returned my call had a creepy voice like I was calling a mortuary. She sounds like she hates her job. She could schedule me 1-2 months out. I had questions and concerns regarding the procedure and the soonest I could see someone is 2 months out. I think if the scheduler sounded friendlier I might have wanted to stay as a patient. Aside from the providers the administrative staff needs training in customer service. If you do not mind billing problems and unfriendly staff, this place is the place for you! read more
