After waiting 10-15mins, I was then greeted by the stylist who should have done my service to be told they have a strict NO CHILDREN or guest policy and that the policy was sent over to me prior to the appointment via email. That if I could have someone pickup my daughter and they could perform the service. First I would like to address the fact the policy was not sent to me via email because upon booking they did not ask for my email. Secondly how disappointing that this is a women owned business and they chose to implement a no children policy. Sadly I can not base this review on a service that was performed but only on customer service and policy and I would not recommend this business based solely on the policies and the way this situation was handled.

I'm so glad I decided to go to Luxskin and work with Alex. She was extremely welcoming, answered all my questions and really put my mind at ease prior to the service. I was always self-conscious about leaving the house without brows on, even while sick or just running to the store. I heard about Scratch Studio from my hair stylist and immediately booked an appointment for microblading. Hillary's studio is clean, fresh, and calming. I came in for my consultation, which lasted about 90 minutes to talk about the process and map out the brows. We reviewed the shape, color, and aftercare. I was so pleased with the consultation that I immediately booked my appointment for the following week. The whole process was relatively painless, with some short-lived, mild burning discomfort in the beginning prior to the application of numbing solution (Lidocaine, Tetracaine, Epinephrine). The actual microblading process was painless due to the numbing. Hillary's calming music actually almost caused me to fall asleep! The entire microblading process took about 2 hours. My eyebrows were a little red, but not swollen or painful at all. Afterwards, I had some discomfort with moving my brows but it was by no means painful. She also has you schedule a one month followup to make sure you are entirely happy with the color, shape, and fill of the brows because everyone's skin takes the pigment differently. I just completed my one month followup yesterday and I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome! If you've ever contemplated getting microblading, stop by Scratch Studio for a consultation. You will NOT be disappointed!
