There was lots of drama around the school but I think that's pretty normal in the US. All of my teachers here were honestly incredible; they cared so much about their students and what they taught.

Oscar Smith's football team was a contender in the semi finals against Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA). The stadium is well constructed. It features a large home seating section as well as a good size visitor seating area. There are two concession areas, as well other vendors (food trucks) on site for the spectators. The field itself is beautiful and it seems well maintained. I am not sure how long the field has been in existence, but it's been at least 5 years and the stadium is still in great shape. Inside the school, the gym is spacious as well! It seems as though OS takes care of their facilities and they also have plenty of parking on site. If you're in the area, you will not be disappointed at the sporting venues here. Have fun and enjoy life :)

My kids are learning so much and I know they are taken care of while I have to work. Entrusting your kids to others is a tough thing to do! Knowing that your kids are making friends, learning about God and getting the learning attention they need for success! The pastor and his wife care for this school just as they care for the church and look out for all those that enter. The front office has significantly improved in communication and I am looking forward to watching this church and school grow!!

I would suggest not sending your child here as the teachers do not help the students. Even students with a hard working ethic fail to succeed at this school. The environment was very toxic, the staff was mostly mediocre, and the lunches were terrible (cold and nasty). The lunch staff once gave us raw chicken. Read that again, RAW chicken. There was mold in the theaters as well. For 30k a year, this is not worth it. Do better.

This is my daughter's first year here. The teachers have been great. They communicate regularly…read moreand answer emails quickly. There are numerous extracurricular activities: student council, debate club, sports, etc. She has P.E. and an elective every day. She chose band, but other choices include orchestra, chorus, etc. Foreign language is offered starting in 7th grade. The school is safe and clean. There are student activities on a regular basis. We recently attended a student talent show.
