I will start this review by saying the previous managers were fired for being paid for upkeep and…read moremaintenance that never took place. I will provide a list of issues I have reported to both the previous managers (over two years ago) as well as the current managers via their online portal on the 1st of July. None of the following issues have been resolved as of July 11. - air condition not working (we have a disabled Son who gets overheated daily) It's JULY. - holes in laundry room floor (rotten wood), holes in both bathroom floors (rotten wood) - kitchen counter is dry rotted and has fallen off of the wall altogether. - black mold throughout (I can see the mold because the wallpaper that had been held together by staples has started to separate itself from the walls.) - kitchen drawers dry rotted (some were missing upon move in) - no working lights (we use lamps we bought at wall mart) - no master bedroom door since move in - carpet was never replaced or even cleaned after previous owners - pit bull / pit mix allowed on complex (think whatever you want, this one is territorial and has proven to be aggressive - it is also never kept on a leash). At this point I am considering contacting the Health Department, the Better Business Bureau as well as filing what is known as a Congressional. The conditions here are inhumane and someone needs to come investigate.

But come to find out our apartment was INFESTED with fleas from the previous owner. After suffering numerous bites, asked the landlord to take care of that, and the floor which is practically falling through in the bathroom. The fleas are taken care of now, but he has yet to say a single word about the floor which has obvious water damage (probably mold). Recently, we found BLACK MOLD under our window. When confronting the landlord, he said he took care of it, and apologized. Only to a few hours later call (AND ACT INCREDIBLY RUDE) about the black mold, saying that in order for him to fix the apartment, we'd have to move out and we have 24 hours to tell him if we're moving out.. We're moving out. And we will be letting everyone know of our HORRIBLE experience.

They recently through him fixed up the building, repaved the parking lot, and got back on schedule with activities for the seniors. It is has been a godsend to us in West Virginia with my mother. The apartment is neat and clean and just enough for one person. The security is good, she has emergency pull cords in the bathroom and bedroom and what with her apartment being an interior one, she is saving a lot on heat by living there. Some folks that live there gripe and complain, but she has been there since March and has had very attentive service to the apartment where she lives. Some people you just can't make happy, but we are very pleased.
