Our venue coordinator, Leslie, was outstanding from start to finish. She was responsive, organized, and anticipated our needs long before the wedding week. When the ice storm became a real concern, Leslie and the River Ranch team were clearly prepared and put us completely at ease. Then, just an hour and a half before the ceremony, our outside wedding coordinator unexpectedly bailed. Leslie immediately stepped in without hesitation and kept everything running smoothly. Despite the weather reducing our guest count, the staff was phenomenal. The servers and bar staff were attentive, friendly, and professional, and they truly turned what could have been a disaster into the wedding we wanted. The food was excellent--especially the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and appetizers. The staff even made sure we ate and sent us home with care packages afterward. We can't recommend River Ranch Stockyards highly enough and would absolutely use them again for future events.

We had to clean before we could even begin to decorate which is ridiculous! We took some photos of proof to show to the venue renters. I called the following Tuesday to see about picking up my deposit and was told that we were being charged for not sweeping and mopping the hall! We in fact swept the entire place with the broom, then went over ig with the push duster and mopped the entire building! I told them that was completely false and we did in fact sweep and mop the whole place. They did not want to hear anything I said I told them.I had photo proof of how dirty the hall was before even having our party. We cleaned up so much trash that wasn't ours to clean up and still were charged. My family will never rent this venue or refer it to anyone ever again since they basically said we left the place very dirty. I will not do business with anyone that treats us like this ever again! ​
