I struggle to find the words to explain how perfectly wonderful Trickle Creek Events is. Trickle Creek is truly a DREAM COME TRUE venue -- they nailed every detail and have EVERYTHING you need for your wedding day (large, cute bridal suite, adorable grooms cabin just outside the venue, large beautiful reception area) and the most gorgeous views for the ceremony by the large, old oak tree (that doesn't even need any extra decor). When you pull up to the venue, it looks like "Pinterest in real life!" Ronda & Darrell really have done a phenomenal job thinking of everything I didn't even know we would need. While we fell in love with the property, Ronda & Darrell are really what sold us; they are two humble, kind, and thoughtful owners. They do not nickel & dime couples, they are responsive, and they are flexible. I was able to use the venue for my bridal shoot for no additional cost. Our guests "oooh" and "wowed" at the venue/property and amenities ALL.DAY.LONG! We could not feel more blessed to have found Trickle Creek and Ronda & Darrell for our big day! read more

This was our first vendor we booked way back in December 2020. And as we know, there has been a pandemic since then and everything has increased in price a ton. Trickle Creek honored their pricing and were constantly updating their venue in the meantime so we got even more than we bargained for. The venue is incredibly beautiful with a white barn, chandeliers, homey Bridal and groom suites and a stunning oak tree where we had our ceremony under. I toured a lot of venues but ultimately we chose Trickle Creek because of the large oak tree ceremony site and because of the more natural entrance - it's so beautiful there. Ronda, the venue owner at Trickle Creek, was so responsive and understanding throughout our 2.5 year process. She was flexible with multiple venue visits and take down times. She also was so understanding when my family accidentally packed up many of the venues items and gave us ample time to return them. I hope we get to come and visit the venue again. It's so peaceful and beautiful there. Again, 100% recommend. read more

I toured Trickle Creek Event Venue on December 28, 2018 with my son and his fiance. The venue , although unfinished at this point, was in a beautiful location and had potential to be amazing. Ronda, one of the owners, was very professional and courteous as she told us about the process, cost, and many perks that came with the booking...My son( a former combat Army medic)was even offered a military discount. The venue was reserved for 10/05/19 before we left and in January we actually made arrangements to reserve and pay for the venue for Friday, 10/04/2019 to have our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Friday, 10/4/19, around 1pm, Ronda was coming out of the venue and told me she had just put towels in the drier and would be back to fold and put them away. She then said call or text if you need something, got in her car and drove off the property. What we found inside was a dirty kitchen...dishes in the sink and food(some unopened but taking up our refrigerator space none the less)in the fridge. We took care of it and proceeded to unload and prepare for the rehearsal. I texted Ronda to find out if chairs were going to be set up for the rehearsal outside and she said they usually didn't set them up for the rehearsal, but if I had the manpower, go ahead. A short time after that(approx 3pm), Darrell showed up and wanted to remove all the white chairs from the inside where we had just decorated stating they were rentals and he had purchased some he wanted us to use. I told him that we had just completed our set up and would prefer to not have them moving chairs as our guests were arriving for a 4pm start time. He was also insistent that he would set up the outside chairs, despite Ronda's instruction to do it ourselves, and had brought someone to help. Although I felt like this chair exchange could have been done prior to or after our event time, I did agree to have him come afterward to do it. He agreed, only to have his staff start making the inside exchange while I was involved with the outside rehearsal!! Ronda returned to the venue and at around 6, asked about security and a bartender as we were having wine and beer with dinner. This was the first I had heard of this need but assured her we had a licensed bartender and security as our guests. She said she would "pretend" she did not know about it and then told me she was going to "work" and would be there until 3am. "If you need me text because I can't answer calls". According to the Trickle Creek Website Ronda is a "compassionate nurse" at a children's hospital...so my" onsite Venue staff" was handling questions while being paid by a local children's hospital to take care of someone's sick child. Never was I given Darrell's number or "the venue manager's number". We did use the white chairs that were there, with my husband using 409 to clean every seat. The website says Darrell pays special "attention to detail". I guess dirt is not a detail. I believe several reviewers have outlined the details of the unprofessional "daughter/manager" at the rehearsal and the unprofessional " owners" at the rehearsal and wedding. Buyer beware...if you enjoy extra stress, being called a liar, and seeing your son and his beautiful bride devastated over their dream wedding being ruined by unprofessional behavior, then Darrell and Ronda at Trickle Creek should definitely be your next phone call. I had my wedding at Trickle Creek Events on October 5, 2019. My husband, his mother, and I met with Rhonda Odom on December 28, 2018 while they were under construction. While the venue is beautiful, the sheer unprofessionalism of the owners ruins the venue, effectively ruining your wedding day. Not only did the venue owners flash a gun at a groomsman, they did not fulfil their contractual obligations of providing a venue manager or following their own rule, bolded and in all caps of: "There shall be NO FIREARMS on the grounds at any time." If you are looking to work with venue owners who feel it is necessary to tell you "we have never hosted a wedding as horrible as yours", while you are STILL in your wedding dress. Please continue reading. The property itself, is beautiful. The Ranch is located on an expansive amount of land that shows great landscaping work. When I met Rhonda, she seemed to be a caring and attentive business owner. All interactions between us were amicable and as professional as should be expected up until our wedding.. Did not make her presence known and was aggressively unprofessional. The owners came into the end of my wedding in dirty work clothes and sat on my cake table 1.5 hours before my wedding was to end and proceeded to glare at us. When approached by a groomsman to ask what the issue was, Darrell casually flashed his gun and said " we are all calm here". The Owners told me before my grand exit and while still in my wedding dress, mine was the worst wedding ever hosted. The Owners state they will be on site but when asked for assistance with backed up toilets and no toilet paper, no one was to be found and the texted response was " oh welll, they must have used all the TP yesterday." The owners run their bsuiness on nepotistic values. When told their venue manager was unprofessional, Darrell's response was " oh, haha thats my daughter." My husband was shocked and replied " your f*cking daughter is unprofessional"... which in turn spurned all negative interactions ( gun flash included) for the following day. When approached by mother to ask why they were awkwardly lingering in their tired work clothes, the owners told her " no one says my f*cking daughter and gets away with it ". This is a VERY abbreviated version of what occured and many details are missing. If i could post my entire review without character count blocking me, i would. I STRONGLY suggest you visit their facebook page and wedding wire for a detailed account of the issues that occured. I PAID for the majority of this wedding at this venue along with my daughter paying to the vendor directly as well. I feel the need to write this today even though its been over 3 weeks since this event took place because of how troubled and upset I still am over the entirety of this day. This has definitely left a stain to remember. I am the mother of a bride who was married at Trickle Creek Events on October 5th, 2019. My family was excited to travel 500 miles north for my oldest daughter's (and first child to marry) wedding. While the venue was beautiful, the disappointing unprofessional behavior displayed by the owners and their daughter ruined my daughter's wedding. I was horrified and heartbroken that my daughter left her wedding in the middle of a full-blown panic attack because of behaviors displayed by the owners of Trickle Creek Ranch. As many of the reviews have truthfully noted, there was a myriad of acts completed by these "caring and compassionate" owners that lead to the views so many in attendance of this wedding now hold. My personal interaction with Darrell and Ronda was one that could have been professionally handled. As my daughter has mentioned, the venue manager is the daughter of the owners. She brought a tour of 4 people through the middle of the venue (which we have on video) while her mother-in-law was in the middle of an emotional speech. My son-in-law attempted to make Darrell, the co-owner of the venue, aware of the awkward and unprofessional behavior of this venue manager. At this time, no one was aware this "Manager" was the daughter of the owners. Darrell's response was "ha-ha, that's my daughter". Admittedly, my son in law was emotionally charged and shocked by this response and said, "your f**king daughter is unprofessional" and walked away. I approached both Darrell and Rhonda and asked why they were even there, stunned that they would make such a scene in the middle of my daughter's wedding. Darrell's response to me was "no one says my 'f*cking daughter' and thinks they can get away with that. I apologized to Darrell and Ronda on behalf of our family and explained the different emotions running around on a wedding day, but they were unwilling to allow my daughter to enjoy the rest of her wedding day. They remained where they were and escalated issues from that point. My daughter's grand exit was ruined because she had to deal with these owners and the issues they seemed to have with her. While sitting on the cake table. I heard Ronda tell my daughter, still in her wedding dress surrounded by guests, "we have never had a wedding as terrible as yours". My heart broke as I saw my daughter politely and professionally hold back her tears to deal with these "caring and compassionate" owners. I have not come close to touching on the other acts I witnessed that took place throughout the night, but other reviews have taken care to detail those facts. Most notably, the aggressive response to a verbal conversation with a groomsman. No one wants to watch the day their daughter has dreamed about since she was a little girl ruined; no one wants to watch their daughter leave her wedding in a full-blown panic attack; or even watch your family run around in their dress clothes and heels trying to pack up everything they can so your daughter and new son in law can escape from the nightmare their wedding became. In my opinion, whether this was an isolated instance or not there are a great many venues equally as beautiful with owners I'm sure would never find it in their hearts to ruin a bride's fairytale wedding, one a mother always dreams of for her daughter. read more
