Inside it is literally like a magpie's dream, immediately to the left as you enter the door is a glass cabinet area filled with shiny - beautiful jewellery, necklaces, earrings and such, which had the air of an indie designer. The shop is literally packed with cabinets and tables of goodies, I was actually worried about knocking things over with my bag! As well jewellery there were games, pottery items, ceramics, wicker baskets, ornaments and all sorts of knick-knacks and exciting little bits. My favourite items worthy of noting were the little cloth owl and kitty purses, by 'Cotton Zoo' and a cat's bum tea-towel holder (honestly, that's what it is!) which, curiously, won 'gift of the year'! The front is very colourful and clearly geared towards children with one wall full of toys. There is a lively feel to the place - The Beachboys were playing as I was browsing. I was intrigued by the table holding only 'The Beano' themed things, from note books to coasters to thermos flasks, having never seen anything quite like it. Further into the shop there is an area selling cosmetic gifts like little bath bombs in the shape of cakes and ice cream shower cream, in ice cream flavors - mint, vanilla and chocolate! There is also a wide range of jewelry and some smart silver picture frames on offer so Opulent Designs covers most bases when it comes to gift ideas from children to your Granny to your friend that is getting married and has things for all budgets!

Yes, this Dunelm Mill has a cafe inside and it looks quite nice! Instead of aisles, the store is set up with the main aisle leading around the whole store... almost like IKEA, but not quite a maze like IKEA. They have loads of bedding, bath, kitchen, and decor items. I was quite impressed with the kitchen area, which I may have spent a lot of time in taking a look at all of the great gadgets and utensils I might need... or just plain want. This store has been great for our needs as far as setting up my boyfriend's new apartment. We even got some great, fluffy and cozy bath robes. Some items are quite inexpensive, but I couldn't find a "clearance" area (yes, I like to scout out the deals). There is a furniture area at the back of the store near the cafe, but it did look quite bare and it didn't look like there was a huge selection of furniture. It looked like the furniture selection was limited to tables and dressers. Overall it provides a lot of selection for great value and saves you from having to go to a number of different stores to decorate and furnish your home.

The man with the moustache who served us was really friendly and welcoming. All of the furniture is really great quality - fantastic solid oak woods - and we were really surprised at how cheap it was. It was so easy to find everything we needed - the shop is open plan with a few showrooms upstairs. Since last year, we've returned for new carpets, pillows, all sorts. Although it's called the Carpet Warehouse they sell beds, furniture, pillows, mattresses, all sorts of stuff for the home. I always recommend the Carpet Warehouse to my friends - it's fab.

This is the kind of shop Gok Wan goes on about in his programmes, he talks to us ladies and tells us about customizing our old clothes for a new look. This is the ideal shop for all that. TL;DR - Fantastic, top of the line garden centre…read more We love a garden centre, and Barton Grange combines lots of the best bits: - It's big, so there's plenty to look at and choose from. - It's got great catering options, with both a self service cafe and table service restaurant. - It's got plenty of car parking. - It's got a fantastic farm shop attached. - The prices are really reasonable. There are a few other things which really set the place apart though. I love the fact that the cafe is next to a river, so you can sit and watch the water run past over cake and coffee. It also has an amazing kitchen shop which has a huge range of beautiful products and is much better than you'd find almost anywhere else. Mark loves their houseplant selection which is more varied than we've seen anywhere else - and also very reasonably priced, which is a delight given how "on trend" house plants are right now. At Christmas they also do a fantastic Christmas display with lots to choose from, and it's all very well curated and organised. And I can't finish the review without mentioning the urinals in the gents toilets near the cafe - you've never seen anything like them! each one is shaped like a different flower, really unique! Finally COVID: the place is really well organised with staff on the door making sure you use sanitiser and wear a mask. Cafe staff were also really good at making sure people obeyed 2m social distancing and we felt very safe all through our visit.

Gifts, garden furniture, lighting, barbecues etc. etc. There's a choice of two places to eat; The Riverside cafe which provides informal dining, snacks and a children's menu whilst the Willows Restaurant provides waitress service for morning tea, a lunchtime menu and traditional afternoon tea. As a somewhat reluctant gardener though the star here for me is the 'Farm Shop'. This is an Aladdin's cave of posh tucker! Delight upon delight is laid out on shelves large and small to tempt the tastebuds of any self respecting foodie. It has everything you might expect to find and more from the excellent butcher's department to fresh breads, cheeses, immaculately presented fruit and vegetables and shelf upon shelf of deliciousness large and small. A word of warning though, it does all come with the aforementioned price tag so try not to get too carried away as you wander round with your trolley! :-)
