Re-downloaded Yelp just for this: this is the worst "financial institution" I've ever dealt with…read more I split my direct deposit among three banks. CACL was one of them until I noticed my balance was -$190. I called and asked, "What's going on here?" The response was, "Sir, it's your job to keep track of your account." I didn't call for a lecture. Long story short, they told me it was "overdraft protection." I don't regularly check this account. I mainly use it a pinch. There were a few small charges, around $2 each, but every one of them triggered a $35 overdraft fee. I asked the representative if she could see how that seemed predatory: charging a fee more than 10 times the amount of the purchase and calling it "overdraft protection." Also, why wouldn't anyone contact me? Do they really think I would knowingly continue making $2 purchases if each one cost me an additional $35 in fees, eventually totaling more than $150? I told them to shut the count down and I'll pay the balance but They agreed to waived the fees. I paid what I owed and even deposited an extra $400 as a gesture of good faith. About a year later, I needed to access the money and discovered my debit card had been blocked. I couldn't unblock it myself, and I couldn't transfer the money out through the app. When I called, I was told they couldn't move money between banks because they're a credit union. I also bank with PSECU, so I know that's not true. At that point, I told them to send me a check and close the account. Good riddance.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would. Tried to transfer a title where both sellers needed to…read moresign. All they needed to sign was the physical title and no other paperwork but SUSAN - aka, worst Karen ever, wouldn't let her. The seller was on a short break from work and couldn't wait that long, so we needed to find another place to transfer. The other seller could be there the whole time so there was no excuse. SUSAN was rude, refused to work with us, straight out LIED about what needed to be signed and was about as nasty as it gets. Ridiculous. Would NEVER go back there again. Go to J Lynn or Melissa Ebling (both very close) - they work with you1

The clerk at Yurkonic keeps telling me I must have the title in my possession to get plates for my car even though I financed it. I told her multiple times that this car I just purchased is financed through the loan bank and I will not get the title unless I pay off the loan, which is a standard thing. I even told her that I never saw the title to my last car until I paid it off and I had PA plates on it for 4 years, so how did that happen? Nope, she keeps repeating "you must have the title in your physical possession in order to get plates and registration for the car". I ended going to a different agency and I'll be getting my plates in a week or two. Turns out they only need the lienholder's name on the MV1 form and they send the title to PennDot who then holds it until I pay off the loan. Which is what happened the last time I bought a car out of state.
