We're just passing through and wanted to have a quick beer. Every place else in town we saw was either closed or closing, so here we went. There were about 10 or so people sitting at the bar at 945 on Wednesday night. The bartenders were immediately attentive, and pleasant. We ordered a round of draft beers, all reasonably priced. The bar was quiet, so one could hold a nice conversation. Exactly what I'd look for on a weekday night. The bartenders were both exceptionally polite to my parents and I, and carried on a nice conversation with us for the duration of our time there, covering a variety of topics. All I can say was, I came away quite impressed. I learned that the new owners have only had the bar for less than a year, but you can tell right away they run an excellent establishment. I'd recommend to anyone and I'll happily stop by the next time I come through town.

Finally order, food came out in 5 min. Minus 1 side. Sampler platter. Pulled pork, molten hot, huge amount, and good! Brisket, at best warm, and the fattest slab of meat I've ever seen. Most prime rib has less fat. 50-50 ratio of meat and fat. Oh I had to use my pocket knife to cut because my gf had the only knife we were provided. Then the ribs..... Warm ish, tried using my fork, then pocket knife. Considered asking for a Sawsall to cut them. We ate about 15% of our food. The take home is going to the dog!
