During that time I've been personally taken care of by the Owner and Creative Director Jim Allison. He is one of the easiest people I've ever worked with in any industry - ever. His prices are fair and I'm sure he routinely puts in more hours than estimated just to avoid raising the price. He really wants to get it done right and on time. He even plays nice with other designers and creative professionals! I can't tell you how much that means in an era when doing those basic things well is so rare for businesses. He knows his stuff and has designed some amazing things for me and the companies I've worked for. I've bought just about everything a guy can from Thot Communications: Brand and Logo Development; Business Cards; Stationary Designs; Brochures (sometimes, very fancy and complicated ones); catalogs; websites (yes, websites); Online art elements; clothing designs; food packaging; shipping boxes; mailing campaigns; art directing photo and video shoots; movie presentations; email campaign designs; did I miss anything? I like to try to leave some critique on my reviews so that they can be objective and useful, but I can't think of anything that would warrant it. I'm happy with my 5-star rating above! They did a terrific job, made two different colors and recreated a small version of our school mascot that I would not have thought possible on a hat. Everyone loved them and I ended up ordering more for some people who couldn't attend. Recently I had other caps made for a family reunion..quite last minute, and those too turned out great. Kyle made me several layouts to chose from and I really like the dozens of color options they have to chose from. In my personal experience, they do not treat their employees properly. I worked there for 3 months hoping it would be a great place to work...The people were nice, the work was semi-consistent, but I quickly realized that I was getting barely any pay for the endless hours I put in. Seriously, we're talking $150 for 20hrs of work kind of pay, with the constant promise that "the next job will have better pay." When the time came, I told them I had to move on (because no one could possibly pay rent with $250 every two weeks). I told them that I was very grateful for the opportunity they gave me, that I wish the company all the best and that I hope we continue a friendship further into the future. They replied that they were "very disappointed in my decision." I then asked if I could use the work I made with them for my linkedin account. They said "absolutely not." They proceeded to tell me that the work I created for them was considered their property only and that I was not legally allowed to use it to promote myself...Nice guys right? I simply wanted to add it to my portfolio of work. I was mainly shocked that they instantly turned on me in such a hostile way right after I had told them I was moving on. See, I've done work with many other companies, like Nike, ASICS, etc, and all of them were totally fine with me using the work I made with them (free promotion right!) 100Seven responded like a child would. They responded out of emotion, in a immature fashion, instead of a professional way. For that, I'm very disappointed in them and the way they run their business. I would not recommend them to anyone...not because I don't like them as people, they were nice most of the time...but because they don't know how to properly run a business, and in this industry, a company that runs business like that will not last long. For their sake, I hope they change how they operate.

I felt as if no one listed to my wishes once I'd finally viewed their initial designs. Upon asking for revisions to the look and feel of my piece, they acted as if I were crazy to have things adjusted. It didn't appear to matter to this firm that I'm paying them for this service. I was more or less coerced into approving the proof because of our contract and their bullying. They have never heard of the phrase "the customer is always right" and will obviously never receive any positive remarks or recommendations from me. Do yourself a favor and move on to find some other firm.

Aside from being two hours longer than the time they stated it would take. While I sat in the lobby. I went home, after a few days when I could finally roll down my windows and do all the things. I noticed little teeny scratches all over the tent from the application. I contacted Tommy's. I left several voicemails and never received a call back. I will not be returning to Tommy's.
