It's hard to be a semi-serious mixologist in Hawaii. We don't have an extensive selection of fine rums (unless it's locally made), bitters, Bols and all manner of elusive mixes. Every time a cocktail calls for something other than the straight liquor itself, it's impossible to find in Hawaii, so Mr B's surprised me with a great collection of floral-infused booziness and liquors (my favorites) I ended up buying a bottle of Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur for about $45, which is the going price. Don't ask me what I am going to make with it. I don't know yet. SELECTION: very large and extensive, and they have their own Mr B's labeled wine. PRICE: Fair prices. About the same prices here retail as compared to our local Costco. SERVICE: very friendly guy at the counter. Located in the Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, Colorado.

This is the second time in a week when something tasted funky with a beer I've had before, I checked the date and bam, this is an IPA that's been sitting packaged for 7 months and tastes like band aid. I'm not sure if they just don't move through what I buy and it sits for way too long or if they have a really bad distributor that offloads old product that's been sitting forgotten about in a hot van but either way I've learned my lesson. I'm still going to shop here but unless I'm buying Pabst, I'm checking the date on the can before checking out.
