The lady that own's it is plus size herself and is beyond helpfull,she has a great eye for what suits and makes you try on things that you would never look at. Its a very personal service and a cup of tea is offen made for you so make sure you have plenty of time to shop,chat and buy. Really unique service and plenty of choice for plus size ladies too.

A little shop but more brands than Harrods. Apparently they have a huge basement. I didnt see it. Theres lots on the ground floor and they bring things up for you. I had the shop to myself...was served by 2 staff at the same time. So much better than a department store. At last Ive found "my" shop. Was was the funniest is I completely forgot they existed and shopped there 10 years ago and even wrote a review.

This sop is in the Royals and I tend to go here for shoes and boots as they tend to be a better quality then most shops and as I have size 8 feet they fit better aswell. They are also great supplier if you are looking for workwear. The sizes are very good and they do stock a large number of plus size clothing. The store is large so there is a great range of clothes from skirts to tops and everything in-between! The staff are extremely friendly and chatty and really brighten the whole experience of shopping here. The interior is modern but keep in mind that you need to go up some steps to get tot he shop so disabled access would be more difficult, although i am sure the staff would be more than willing to do whatever they could to help. Price wise the clothes are great value for money and will alst for sometime. They wash well and keep their shape nicely

This Staines shop is a small branch of the plus-size ladies fashion chain Evans…read more It's very small, but crams a lot of clothes rails into a tight space which can make for awkward shopping, given that the clientele (including me) are of generous proportions! The security alarm goes off a lot as some of the merchandise is right up against it. There's a reasonable representation of the full Evans range here, but it seems that some sizes are more popular than others so sell out quickly and aren't replaced. This can make for a disappointing shopping trip if you've come in to look for something in particular. It's not uncommon to see something on the Evans website or in a magazine, but not be able to find it in this branch. The emphasis is on the more casual ranges, rather than office wear, and there's usually only a small amount of partywear around Christmas. There is some underwear, nightwear and shoes, along with a reasonable amount of jewellery. The jewellery range is great value and the chains etc are longer than in most shops so you can be sure it fits. There are often price reductions and sales here, which is fortunate as sometimes the quality of the merchandise isn't great. T-shirts in particular tend to look ok till you wash them and then the seams twist round and the shape goes. The staff who work in the shop during the week are great and have been there for a while so know what they're doing. The weekend staff isn't as great so things like refunds and ordering items in from other branches can take longer.
