Finally, I saw past the squareness of it all on an early June day, and made my way in to the quaint boutique. Here's the skinny -- everything is a bit boxy. It's not quite as "shoreditch" as the window displays would have you believe, though. The upside to this particular cut and style is that it fits a wider range of people (pun intended? no). For me though personally, not very flattering so I skipped on most of the items I adored on the racks. but did end up with one very lovely summery dress that will be very nice for work, chiming in at £78. It's flowy, not boxy -- big difference! However ACCESSORIES. This is where it's at in the Relax Garden, my dears. Earrings, necklaces, scarves, sunglasses...all very inexpensive. I snagged a gorgeous pair of triangle earrings, a summer scarf, a headband (we'll see how that goes) and was truly delighted at the options. It's a very small shop. The women are friendly and somewhat over involved in the experience. I am sure they are happy to help, but I do prefer a bit more space. I am sure if I had just told them that they would've left me to it. They've been open 10 years. They are doing something right! The clothes are well made and not nearly as expensive as I had anticipated. If you are shopping in or around Shoreditch High Street, make sure to give this one a go, it'll be worth it for the accessories and perhaps you are the perfect person for that square fit boxy look -- then it's a goldmine.

Everyone knows that Japanese people are unquestionably the best dressers in the world, so Japanese designers are generally a safe bet. I like this store because it looks very expensive, but isn't. They stock an interesting selection of garment designs in great colours and fabrics. They also have some beautiful leather bags and very cool jewellery. My favourite piece in the shop this season is a bright orange, button up jersey vest. Every time I have been in here the staff have been friendly and welcoming, happy to give what seem like genuine opinions on the outfits I choose and in return, I usually pick something temporarily wardrobe and life changing for about £50. It's around the same price as Topshop but with the added bonus of knowing you probably won't walk into a party wearing the same dress as everybody else.

There's a really good range of clothes from those suitable for work to those only suitable for a night club. Although the sizes are only really for anyone between a 6 and a 12. Prices can be a little steep particularly for the clothes which are not always worthwhile. I bought a winter coat from Jane Norman which only lasted 1 winter (despite costing £80) but the shoe have always been very comfy and long lasting.

Basildon's Jane Norman is not very big and gets very busy. This does make it hard when looking around. The changing rooms are a nice size with plenty of hooks for your clothes. If you are buying clothes in the sale you dont get a month to decide if you are going to keep your purchase, so I always try sale clothes on before buying.

It was priced at £9.99, and as they are currently doing a promotion I received 30% off! That's the kind of maths I like to do! You can also get chunky jumpers, comfy jeans, hats, wallets and bags.
