I initially worked with an excellent physical therapist, but recently, I have been working with Dr. Tristen, who is also an exceptional, kind, and highly skilled professional. He carefully listens, answers all of my questions, and consistently adjusts my treatment plan as I improve. You can see how he truly cares for his patients, and wants to help them get better. Additionally, his physical therapist assistant, Karen, is also wonderful. She is knowledgeable, attentive, and coordinates closely with Dr. Tristen regarding my progress while providing helpful guidance on my exercises, and also gave me tips on improving my posture, which has been helping to bring pain relief to my shoulders. I'm so grateful to them both! I highly recommend High Line Rehab to anyone seeking quality care.

Management is greedy. - [ ] The only thing good is they have good therapists. -[ ] They got the new therapists doing interns job because the new therapists think if they work hard, they'll get a promotion -[ ] They take you inside, and realize the bed is taken then send you back to the front because its packed -[ ] They make the stem machine minutes higher if there packed so instead of 10, they got patients doing 20 minutes -[ ] People are coughing and sneezing and touching everything, the beds arent always cleaned. -[ ] Therapists and interns open the curtain for no reason while a patient is doing something because no one knows who doing what and where -[ ] They are so crowded, patients are with different therapists everyday -[ ] they are ready to take co-payment before therapy and make patients wait an hour to be called. This is my first time in physical therapy for any injury, and if anyone reading these reviews feels a little nervous or unsure about PT in general, I can say that the difference it has already made in my healing time/process, compared to past injuries that I didn't undergo PT for, has been noticeable. It's taken about half the time it usually takes for me to start walking confidently again. PT as I experience it in this practice is basically everything that I subconsciously want from doctors, but never get from them; it turns out that they rely on therapists to provide a lot of what we everyday people understand as "care." As to this specific practice, I really appreciate a lot of how it's run; they've set up some very impressive workflows to maximize the care that they can provide in their space. The office workers who manage scheduling and payments have always been very professional and inviting with me, and they have a system set up where I get a reminder text the day before every appointment. My wait has never been more than 10 minutes, usually less than 5. The aides, who lead patients through exercises before treatment, orchestrate and manage a really impressive flow of multiple patients progressing through various exercises around the space. My intake was with Michelle, and Manuel has handled the vast majority of my treatment. Manuel gives me a lot of opportunities to reflect on what I'm noticing about my progress thus far, and what aspects of the injury are still giving me trouble. I feel that he's very responsive to observations/questions, and forthcoming with explanations of treatments and exercises (I'm a person who needs a lot of explanations). I'm pretty sure that every single person I've witnessed working here is confidently bilingual (I've heard mostly English and Spanish); I hear office workers, aides, and PTAs switching easily and frequently between languages from patient to patient, and as a fellow bilingual who has a hard time codeswitching that often, I find this really impressive. The practice feels rooted to the community it's located in because of this, and I really appreciate that.

Vinny, Monika, Greg, Emily, they are just so caring, patient and knowledgeable. So much personal attention--they watch and make sure you do every exercise right. I have chronic neck and back pain from whiplash about 18 months ago. I looked for a provider under…read moremy medical insurance and within walking distance to my temp living place in NYC. As I have been through physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, etc, in my home state (not NY). I didn't put too much hope on PT. To my surprise, after therapist Eda listened to my treatment history, she understood my anxiety and frustration. The plan she personalized for me was composed of six different procedures that five of them I never had in a national level hospital physical therapy program. Especially her unique manual therapy manipulation relieved the pain on my neck and trapezius a lot. The effect lasted much longer than physical exercises only that were offered by the hospital in my home state. Unfortunately I only stayed in NYC for a month and I had to leave. I have been calling around in my local city for the similar treatment with no luck. I missed Eda and Restore Plus. Eda also followed me up with some suggestions. She is very intelligent therapist with profound humanity and work ethics! I was so lucky to meet her in the long painful treatment journey!
