They were the only service I reached out to who asked for specific details about the jobs before providing a quote, which is a great way to do business. They also provided a real time of expected arrival instead of something like a four-hour window taking up your entire day. They arrived a little before the time quoted with two people - one the main handyman and one being trained. They did a prompt and excellent job and the cost was very fair. I almost don't want to tell everyone how good they are because then they'll become too busy, ha! They truly deserve your business.

In fact, in my review I stated that all I asked for was the curtesy to let me know you'd decided you were no longer interested in the job. I left a voicemail, asking if you'd decided not to do it. It would not have required you to drop anything to take less than 30 seconds to reply to the text I had sent with the photos and say you were no longer interested. That would have demonstrated a level of professionalism and common courtesy that should be a cornerstone of your business. Instead, you decide to respond to this review three years later with a passive-aggressive reply that only serves to make you look incredibly unprofessional. No part of my review was unreasonable, and the resolution that I said I hoped for was completely fair. Sending a text message would not have endangered your life or your health, but it would have gone a long way to showing that you're a decent person who cares about doing right by people, even when you aren't going to take the job.

Then came the estimate- very high rates for "handyman" types of jobs- hanging curtains and simple shelves, swapping out laundry machines. Then the disposal service was estimated around $112. I thought, well, I've already got the $88 credit, so may as well just get it done. Then the quote came back at more than double! Mind you, it works! Just the rubber top portion needs to replaced. Such a phenomenal waste of my time, energy and $88. If you're rich and don't have any ability to find a trusted local business, have no deadline, they're at least licensed insured and background checked.... and a big fancy company that does the scheduling. Even if I had the $ for all this, I'll flub around with it or find someone local to help by the time they could even schedule the work.
