I'm not usually a fan of garden centres (to be honest, I'd rather be playing with wool!), but this one was a feast for the senses! As a non-gardener, a good garden centre needs to be entertaining to those who are not interested in the actual plants. That means that it has to be set out nicely, have lots of yummy smelling roses (yep, I'm a sucker for those!), have some lovely homewares, and a nice ambiance. High Street Nursery has all these, and the prices are very reasonable too. My partner is the avid gardener, and she was very impressed too (and bought some exotic black chillies!), so everyone was happy.
