When I met Dr. Lambert in 2015, I was a mere shell of myself. I was one year into a new job…read more(producing mediocre results), living with my sister, overweight, and on the "outs" of a relationship that ended up failing horribly. I was extremely vulnerable and was in search of why I was failing at life. As sessions with Dr. Lambert went on, I was able to gain a deeper understanding into who I was, why I was attracting certain people in my life and why I continued to make decisions that manifested the same results. Dr. Lambert challenged me to change my perspective and put forth some serious effort to change my life. Within THREE MONTHS of seeing him, I bought my first home. Within the first TWO YEARS of seeing him, I was promoted twice at my job, lost 40 pounds and got engaged. I owe all of this to the positive vision that Dr. Lambert saw within me- especially when I lost sight of it within myself. Dr. Lambert's sessions are always warm, welcoming and encouraging. In the last three years, I have never experienced a misunderstanding with billing or appointments. He has an amazing memory to detail and can recall stories, conversations and challenges that I discussed with him (and often forgot about) since day one of seeing him.... [To put this into proper perspective, keep in mind that I see him bi-weekly and he has other patients. I find it amazing for him to stay on track with things that I discuss with him. It is as if I am his only patient at times.]... He tells me what I NEED to hear and does so in a way that never makes me feel beat down about myself. I actually walk away from each session with a sense of empowerment and an eagerness to tackle life's next hurdle. Although I have come a long way since 2015, I continue to see him on a semi-weekly basis for "maintenance". I enjoy our talks, which have become an equal part of my routine as going to the gym or watching the sunset during an evening stroll through my favorite nature reserve. I see Dr. Lambert as more of a friend and a mentor than I do as a therapist. He is a much-needed source of knowledge and support as I continue with life. It is because of Dr. Lambert that I have been able to get back to the basics of enjoying life, building meaningful relationships and loving myself. Not only has he been a major influence, Dr. Lambert lives by example. I've had the experience of seeing his office grow in terms of space, team members and eventually to a new location. The culture of his staff has always been focused, friendly and professional. I can tell that his team is a direct reflection of him and I can honestly say that they are doing a lot of things right over there. While being treated, all was well for the most part. Then I had work travel, illness and upcoming…read moresurgery that led me to cancel my final appointment.... Or so I thought. I explicitly verbalized on more than one occasion I would reach back out to get the next appointment on the books after my schedule calmed down and I recovered. What the receptionist heard: reschedule the appointment when she wanted anyways and note in the chart we "tried" to call to confirm. This has to be some type of insurance fraud, as they billed for an appointment and saying I no showed now. Date of service was supposedly in August, just got that bill. Called and personally spoke to Carissa today, who said she didn't know what the charge was for, contact billing. Called billing and they told me, as well as the dr is the one that has to dismiss it. Called Carissa back and filled her in on the case, immediately got defensive and stonewalled me before saying there was nothing she could do in a clipped tone and hanging up. What other fraud is being committed at this business? BBB and the medical board, just to name a few, are some visitors on my list to call next. Mistakes happen and can be made right, but I refuse to be swindled, a victim of fraud, and potentially have my credit hit when others are out here lying about appointments and charging for them.

He is slated as a spiritual counselor. No prayer was given or offered. Not a word was spoken by him about anything spiritual or Christian based. It took me forever to even get a receipt for services. The material she provided to help us walk through it and everything at the end of the day being biblically based but she will respect your beliefs and who you are as a person. Her nurturing and soft voice has helped me so much because that's different than what I've been raised around and she took all my emotions as important which that also has helped my walk in loving myself and believing that I am important because God created me.
