The oysters were huge, the lobster was buttery, and the cod with seafood ravioli was incredible. The sauces, toppings and proteins were all cooked to perfection in addition to the quality of seafood being the best in the world. We were lucky enough to be there when the cauliflower and garlic soup was the soup of the day. I could have eaten only that for the rest of our time in Fort William and been thrilled. However, I also enjoyed the fish and chips, which were as fresh and scrumptious as promised. This is also a great place to enjoy local beers/spirits. I adored the delightfully quirky nautical decor, and the servers were thoughtful and efficient despite a huge influx of diners after we arrived. We sat near the windows of course why would you not want to keep looking at that view. The restaurant was a ski lodge. Beautiful wood work and floors throughout. It was comfortable and cozy. They had a nice array of food on order: hot entrées, soups, sandwiches, and fresh warm breads. The tomato soup I had completely hit the spot and warmed me wee belly. We finished up our meals and made our way back out to gaze at and snap pics of the view.
