I had my first appointment for eyelash extensions here today. The extensions are absolutely beautiful and natural looking. I have two family members who also love this place, so I had to try it out. Super friendly and they made the the experience enjoyable. The other customers also seemed to be extremely relaxed and enjoying themselves. Stopped by to see if they had availability. Was greeted with an annoyed look and was told no immediately. Rude is an understatement. Too many nail salons in this area to have this level of poor customer service. Save your time and money. read more

I had an appointment and had to wait 45 minutes for my appointment after arriving,.. when I ask Le if she had booked two clients at the same time,... she got mad and told me to go get some one else. She did a very bad job on my nails the last time I allowed her to do my nails. Her Attitude was despicable !! I would NEVER recommend this nail salon!! read more

The worst pedicure I've ever had was at Highland Nails. I don't know the girl's name, but she cut my cuticles up! My toes are so sore after this torture I sat through. I've had to put neosporan/antibiotic cream on all my toes and nail beds. I should have just gotten up and left but I was with my daughter and I didn't want to seem like a bitch. I did leave a 20% tip, and I'm not sure why but whatever. I DO NOT recommend this nail salon. If I could give it 0 stars if I could! read more

i have recently had many problems with this place. i got a pedicure from here and got an infection due to lack of hygiene. i know two other people who also got an infection due to the pedicures at this location. also says walk-ins welcome, but if you are not a regular they will not take you. i used to get my nails done frequently and they always accepted my walk-ins. recently when i have went there would only be one or two people in the salon and they'd still say they did not have time. i understand if it happened every so often but this happens every time i go. i have walked in and asked if they had time for what i wanted then they said no. on my way home i called to make an appointment and i was asked to come in 30 minutes. if walk ins are not welcome do not advertise that they are. simple. read more

I used to be a "regular" here. However; due to poor service, I have found it necessary to go to another nail salon. I am used to getting manis and pedis "back to back." After the following situation happened to me once, I specifically asked the owner upon my arrival if I could get my mani/pedi together, (meaning no HOUR wait time between the two. She said no problem, that would be done. After my mani, the guy sat me in the pedi chair and drew my water. He said, "I'll be back." To my surprise, he started doing a full set of nails on another customer! After he was done with her, he told me he would be right with me. The Owner came to me and apologized, for he was hungry and needed to take his lunch break. I sat in the pedi chair for literally ONE hour before he began! I WAS an excellent customer. I had regular fill ins, manis and pedis, took my niece in as well each time. I got my eyelashes done, purchased gift certificates, AND tipped well! Although their work is good, I will NEVER go back. I suggest that if you dont want to waste a lot of time sitting there, that you don't go there either. read more

Well kept salon. They do great work, no question about it. But you definitely want an appointment, as you can't just walk in and be waited on. But I know this and always schedule my apts a week out. The offer eyelash extensions and I must say they are the best I've seen yet in this area. I get so many compliments on my nails and eyelashes thanks to Highlands Nails. I have always heard great things about Highland Nails. They are all so sweet and willing to give you exactly what you need. My first time going, I was not aware that they closed at 6 and I arrived shortly after that. The woman inside informed me they were closed and I told her I would just come back the next day. She then asked me what I needed done and I showed her my nails and explained that they looked pretty bad due to the previous salon that I went to. She agreed and told me she would just go ahead and take care of me. I needed my toes painted as well and told her I would come back for that but she insisted on letting her do them the same day. I thought this was very nice of her being that they were closed. I go to them every time now and will not go anywhere else. They have never cut me with the drill, nails are always the right shape and dimension, nails are always the length I ask for, and polish always looks flawless. I would highly recommend them over any nail salon in Dothan. read more
