Beautiful clean and well kept community! Took awhile to navigate my way around the campus! Loved…read morethe library the most! Though majority of my professors here are knowledgeable, kind and active in helping out students compared to the very very few who are not capable of communicating well... this wasn't really my main issue for the low rating. I understand certain teachers teach differently just as some students learn differently. The only reason I give it a 3 star is bc they tend to get political and push negativity about certain political parties! It's pretty awkward and uncomfortable when they get upset at a student for their political beliefs. Should only be focused on the study at hand, not education based on which party is best and hinting otherwise pushing you towards their personal beliefs... unless of course your taking political science and such.

I got the time slot we wanted for an all-day meeting. I worked with Pam Dally, and she was great. When we arrived to the room, the guest login and password along with the phone extension were written on the whiteboard for us for the desktop we were using for the presentation. I had asked for an easel which wasn't there, but after asking at the front desk, one was brought up right away. The room was clean. GRCC doesn't set up the tables and chairs for you, but it was easy for us to do that ourselves for the small group we had. When we came back from lunch, I asked security to unlock the door for us, and he was happy to do so. He was a friendly guy who chatted me on the way there. The place was deserted on a Friday. I don't know if that is because there was a break in the semester or what. It was very quiet, which was perfect for us. We had one student bang on the door in the middle of our meeting asking to use the pencil sharpener, which wasn't a big deal. The only other disturbance all day was someone's car with the bass cranked up so loud it was shaking the wall on the third story for about two minutes. There is a big parking lot on the west side of Kent Station, next to GRCC which makes parking easier if the garage is full. There isn't a cafe or any vending machines anywhere that we could find so bring food or go out to eat. The bathrooms were well kept.

It's very hard for working parents as I'm also returning to work soon But holy moly I am beyond impressed! Ms. Nikki is AMAZING! So is Ms, Ashley and Ms. Brenda! Everyone is so nice and has so much experience! They do so many activities such as sensory activities (playing with jello), painting with hands and feet, looking at mirrors, reading books together, looking at lights and different shapes and lines, tummy time, etc! My little one is only three months old and he's already done all of these activities! And at three months he's already flipping! Not sure if all these activities triggered his early milestone or if it's because he's a pandemic baby and they're built different but he's flipping everywhere from left to right at three months and is already trying to crawl! Highly recommend this place. All staff wear masks and they sanitize the whole area everyday and wash blankets weekly. Of course swaddling is not allowed due to SID and also it goes against their licensing but my baby went from 10-30 min naps to 1 hour naps and got on a schedule which made my life a lot easier!

The caregivers here are some of the nicest and most caring people we have ever met. Our kids became very close with the staff and other kids here and we are really sad to be moving on. It's a safe, positive and caring environment. If you are considering a daycare/preschool, you will be well served at GTLC. I feel our kids are better off socially and emotionally after attending here. This place does a great job in developing kids for the future. Thanks to all of the teachers and to Ms. Stacy, the owner. We wish you all the best!

Very hands-on teaching, not just with skills, but also with guiding us students step by step through the process. You are not treated like any other student, you are seen, supported, and encouraged to be at your best. The mentors here aren't just teaching for the sake of teaching; they actually care. They explain with patience, share real-life lessons, and make sure you're confident, not only in the classroom but also in actual practice. It feels like being in a community that wants you to succeed, not just pass. So, if you want a place that has incorporated heart, guidance, and real hands-on learning, then Blossom Nursing Academy is definitely the place where students don't just study-they grow, they learn, and blossom. Kudos to Ms Tessa and Ms Dorirs!! Will definitely miss you

Once I asked a question to Doris she wants to be trying to ridicule me in front of the class. If you don't want this job, don't do it! Then after that, she saw me upset and tried to talk to path of "God forgives" at the end of class to everyone. Your religion doesn't make me forgive you haha. You're a nurse, not a pastor. Even had people with head wraps talking all that. Insane! If you sign up, be prepared. Also, someone from Renton had to go to Tacoma for clinicals and not Federal Way! BE PREPARED HAVE THICK SKIN!
