Okay, so now I am coming up on my ONE YEAR of living here! Woo! Anyways, we have decided to stay…read morehere, I will post pictures of the inside once I clean up a little. :) Just thought I should update! I copied my previous review........ everything is pretty much the same except I added info to the first paragraph! There's many pros and cons with these apartments. Well, to start, the landlord lady (think her name is Kim, but I have such a bad memory with names) she can be very sweet and understanding of any issues you may have buuuuut she can also be very rude, I don't think she means to be but she comes off that way, also she is a smoker and I have a young daughter (1 year old) and she came up to us, WHILE SMOKING, Im highly against smoking and do not want my daughter around that. She came up to harass us about when we would have rent when we have already discussed the matter. (ADDED PART-- the other day when I went to pay rent she had the door locked and you could hear her talking, I assumed she was with a new renter, so I knocked and then she came over to unlock the door and was on the phone with her mom..... her personal phone.. very unprofessional, she does things like this all the time. You never know when shell be in because she picks random days to show up, the maintance guy is always in though it seems. Even on the weekends he's working hard. To make matters worse, she didn't even apologize to me about being on the phone she said "What do you want?" and I replied with "I was wondering how much we owe you total?" Because you include water bill with the rent, I wanted to get the right money order amount. To which she replied "And who are you?" In a RUDE voice, not even like a which apartment are you, she has seen me every month now for about a year... Im very disappointed in her. Okay, so lets get really started here, well I moved in in June 2016, its now obviously March 2017, so it hasn't been a full year yet but I think I have a pretty good idea of things. My neighbor to the next door sometimes has his teenage daughter over and she likes to blare music really loud when he's not home. (We have asked them many times to turn down their sound) I'm not sure if that means the walls are thin or how loud she actually has it, we never hear the neighbors directly behind us though, so it may just be them. Also, major bug problem, be careful leaving anything out, even fruit on the counter, ants will find it! And I have had TWO frogs appear in my apartment! So random. You'll want to get plastic for the windows in the winter to help keep the costs low on heating. They are children friendly, they have a cute little park area for kids to play at, right in the center in front of the office area. Oh also, you have a nice patio you can put patio furniture on, and let the kids draw with chalk on the concrete. There isn't a whole lot of parking for you though. You cannot have satellite television. The neighbors directly behind us are smokers, and I am pretty positive that they smoke IN their apartment as I can smell it on any of the walls that are connected to theirs. They are pretty good at getting things fixed when they need to be. The maintence guy is super friendly and talkative. Walking distance to Walmart, Kroger, Dollar General, Taco Bell, Burger King, Aldi, and many other shops and even China Grill. Nothing else really to mention. They are fairly decent apartments but I do think they charge a smidge more than they are actually worth. Before I move out, I will post pictures of the inside. Probably moving out in June, so check back then! Thanks for reading all my rambling! I will come back and update this if anything changes or I think of something that needs to be brought up.

We had two floods in the apartment in the 11 or so years we lived there. They refused to take care…read moreof the carpet after those incidents, we had several times requested the carpet be cared for and they wanted us to pay out of pocket to have it replaced. They are currently trying to claim we only lived there since 2017 despite us having proof we've lived there since 2011 and are trying to charge us 1200 for 11+ year old carpet claiming "pet urine" ruined the carpet. The maintenence man is nice but they can't keep office workers and there's no real communication between management and tenants. The security door was broken for well over a year, and even when we had moved out it had still not been replaced or repaired, if someone was at the door you had to walk out to the security door to let them in because the locking mechanism was broke. All the smoke alarms are connected and go off when ANYONE does anything, they are also super sensitive and have even gone off just because I opened the oven door. Despite a "no smoking policy" there are plenty of people who smoke weed and cigarettes within the building that goes unpunished. They do little to nothing to clear the parking lot after winter storms but are quick to threaten to tow you if you arent parked within the lines, even when the lines aren't even visible. They try to charge like it's one of the nicer complexes in the area when it's really not. The company that owns this does not care how long you've lived there or how good you take care of your apartment, they will try to take you for every dollar they can with minimal help or care from them. For what they charge you can do much better in Bellefontaine

Pros- cheap. Nice landlord…read more Cons- everything. No I'm kidding but I'm almost not. Okay so I rented a 3rd floor apartment and it was awful. Walls are so thin you can hear everything. So many kids who are not watched by their parents. Running up and down the stairs and playing in the halls. Also the door lock was broke almost the entire year that I lived there until I threatened to take the to court to fix it. (Safety hazard) I have a baby I can't have that. And people smoke in their apartment so the whole complex smells like tobacco or marijuana. Which smells worse? I'm not even sure. All the smoke detectors are connected so when someone is cooking bad your detector will go off. For quite a while. Kids like to ring the buzzer for fun and knock on the door all the time. And people who have pets never pick up the poop when they take them outside even though it's the law and they enforce it (with a sign). Or they just let their pets pee and poo inside. (You can tell by the smell) the first floor ALWAYS smelled like cat pee. Oh and no washer dryer hookups and there's only 2 machines in each building so they're almost always taken. There's so much more I can say but I'll stop there.
