Slumlord alert !!…read more Over a year later since my last review of this building and the state of management, the building is much worse . The rug has not been cleaned in over 4 years . Water is still getting shut off for long periods, hot water is not working at times for long periods. They did do a redo( my door was not attended too as again Connie the manager is vindictive and realstar supports this behaviour ) but has been refusing to vacuum the new rug . The windows finally got a clean after 3 years of neglect. But not mine as the manager Connie , is again vindictive. This behaviour happens if you don't let them do what they want . Unfortunately this new rug will be treated in the same fashion as the last one . When I asked for them to vacuum all they did pick up the stuff that their construction workers left by my door and neglected to vacuum the rest . They are trying to save as much money as they can by not having water softener ( they discontinued that in jan 2020) mats for the floors for winter has been discontinued. They only clean the lobby and no sanitizing of the other parts . No mandating the mask law but have the sign up for show so they do not get fined . The social room is done by another tenant . The manager Connie is not to be trusted and I would suggest everything be put into writing as well as of you are dealing with head office or any other realstar staff. Also there is no circulation in the building or a ventilation system . It is raised air and is currently dusty and not clean. In short this building will affect your health . There is a window in the hallway but they open it a crack and that still does not help . The Laundry room is not looked after , machines are not maintained only if something breaks down , dirty dusty . Also they will at times have Highpoint come over and use the machines with out us out and they will only get it fixed when they is other machines that need fixing . Also there are people who steal clothes , we have a guard at night but he is usually sleeping on the job . Cars gets broken into on a daily basis and realstar says that is not our issue. Pot holes everywhere that has not been repaired . You also have a lot of smokers and pot smokers in this building that the smell goes into the hallway and when you tell the management they do nothing . This building would be good if your a drug dealer as the owners do not care about it or what goes on here . The parkade is not kept up or cleaned it is disgusting and unkept. Lastly very unsafe for tenants or guests . Do yourself a favour run from this building or from any realstar building . This not how it was when I moved in . . If you don't do what they want and that includes letting them not follow the lease or the laws they will start to harass you and they will claim you owe money when you do not and put a collection agency after you when it is not legal or put a hearing in an attempt to get what they want , they might comment on this and make it seem they clean and care about the tenants and the building, they don't . And all you have to do is drive over and see the state of the building . Everyone who lives here is fed up with how it is getting run . And the best thing I can do is tell my experience so a person can make an informed decision and not have to go through what I am or the other tenants are going through . Also Connie has violent tendencies and hit me in the face with a stack of papers and realstar did nothing about her behaviour. If this building was a good building no matter how my interactions would of been , I would given it a good rating but it is not and is to be avoided at all costs .

After moving in I found out that it was just a fixture on the wall and it wasn't connected to anything. FALSE ADVERTISING!! I had no control over my heat. They are currently working on the garage, concrete blasting, spraying etc., (I get construction) the noise is unbearable and I can't close my windows due to the fact its 26 degrees out and the heat is still blasting in my suite. Everything is covered in dust and the noise gives me a headache. Every day from 8 am until 4. UNBEARABLE!!!! But nobody cares. Tried to get the heat thing solved but was just written off and nothing was done.

We didn't have much time and didn't want to make multiple visits to Kitchener to find something. Well, he didn't waste our time looking at Condos that didn't fit our profile. He targeted our needs and we made an offer to purchase a Condo right across the street from the School of Pharmacy. Wow, he nailed it. The Condo Culture vibe came through from his team members. They put the paper work together and within a short time we had purchased a Condo. Forward four (4) years and I again contacted Tim to sell the condo. Our son had graduated and the only group that I trusted to sell it, was Tim's team. They didn't disappoint. Not only did he sell us a great condo with a fantastic location, they sold it the first day it was on the market. Wow, a tribute to there organization, professionalism and there "get it done attitude". The attention to detail and complete prep of documents made the whole process a great success. Really, it's a great spot. The on site staff is pretty bad, though. We were promised a new dishwasher when we moved in, and almost 7 months later we still don't have it. There have been many excuses, it's almost laughable. The building supervisor is not reliable, they insist that you make your requests to have work done in person, but are rarely in the office during office hours. I had hoped for much more considering the rent that we are paying.
