While back in Hastings for a few weeks i thought i would chech a fee liquor stores' bourbon…read moreselection. See what might be around that i couldn't find in Maryland. I didn't find much and before coming here. A few allocated bottles at secondary that i could find closer to home (as was expected) and one interesting Nebraska bourbon. But a quick internet search led me here . . . . and it did not disapoint. What an unecpectedly great selection. In fact I stopped by here twice to pick up another bottle i hesitated on the first time. Plus the had a bar area where you could try most of their store picks amongst other harder to find bottles. I ended up purchasing 3 bottles but would have bought more if i hadn't flown here. Next time I drive I'll definately be stopping again.

Workers tried to steal and cut up my ID…read more I went in to buy alcohol and gave the workers my ID, like usual. The worker then looked at my ID, and without scanning it, he told me that my ID was fake. He then proceeded to pull out his phone and "scan" my ID on some "app" that told him my ID was fake. This seemed very unprofessional and wrong to scan my ID on his personal device. Two other workers then proceeded to "scan" my ID as well. Again, made me uncomfortable. The cashier then refused to give me my ID back and told me he was going cut up my ID. I then begged the workers to give it back to me. It took some time but they eventually gave me my ID back. They did refuse service. This was a gross demonstration of taking advantage of power and not following rules of scanning an ID. My ID is not fake, they would've found that out with one scan. I am livid at this service, and I will always say bad things about Bills liquor. I have bought alcohol there before without problem, because my real ID scans. These people are assholes who get off on holding power over people. Nobody should ever go here. This was my worst customer service experience ever.

The first bite of that pepperoni pizza roll with the obviously fresh yeast bread dough roll, the meat sauce, the garlic cream sauce...then the fresh beer-battered fish and really good crispy french fries, and a home made cole slaw that's just about as good as my husband's late Southern grandma's cole slaw (which is really high praise.) The Lucky Seven pizza was also delicious with a perfect crust and big chopped veggies like mushrooms and peppers. Service was friendly and attentive; the decor is clean and on the more minimalist side while also comfortable and welcoming. Agree with all the other reviewers, this is absolutely an amazing experience--this meal will be one of the great memories of our road trip from Sugar Land, Texas (greater Houston area) to South Dakota and Mount Rushmore.

The side salad was humongous and beautifully fresh. The cup of chili was outstanding, packed with beef and beans in a hearty Rocky Mountain style with just the right amount of heat. The pizza was delicious, and the steak had gorgeous grill marks, juicy and tender just the way it should be. Pro tip: order the chili and beef pizza together! Lexington is a small town, so what do you expect, right? It also has energy drinks, snacks and looks largely like someone's converted garage or basement and is the kind of place that would not survive in any town other than one like Lexington. For the area, it's fine, I suppose, but it's not much more than being nothing at all...
