We came for a mother's day lunch which after a lengthy wait to order came an hour afterwards. This is all understandable if expectations are managed but we heard nothing, and there was only one other full table. Inconsistent at best, but well priced, friendly, and well meaning. Very rich sauces and tender meat if you don't mind a wait and odd operatic ambient music.

These days the service is consistently and flawlessly lovely. As far as the food is concerned; well, it's McDonalds. My morning coffee is passable but I get a free one every so often and the service really cannot be faulted. It's what keeps me coming back. My apologies Maccas. We have both changed and I look forward to enjoying you're deliciously unhealthy, hungry-again-in-three-minutes-but-hey-I-still-love-it food.

On asking "why not?", I was told very clearly, "umm this is a fish and chip shop". Oh, well obviously. Sorry? To my dismay the experience only worsened when I got my purchases (sans coleslaw) home. My fish had been battered, prior to grilling- the result? a delicious fish pancake complete with spiky little bones. No thanks. Terrible food and horrible service to top it off- won't be going here again!
