I've had serious lower back and hip issues (after a bad injury), as well as neck and shoulder problems (pain, stiffness, pinched nerves) for years. After recently moving to the area, I was referred to Dr. Ashby by several new neighbors. And I am so glad I was! Dr. Ashby is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He is probably the gentlest chiropractor I've ever seen. But the results are remarkable. I can walk better, faster, and with less effort than I have in years. I''m now walking 1+ miles (no big deal, I know - but it used to be!) with almost no pain in my hip and lower back. And because my flexibility is so much better, I'm walking faster and with less effort. I can actually exercise again. Before seeing Dr. Ashby I could make it about 100 yards before I had to stop, because I was in intense pain. AMAZING! And my neck and shoulder issues have improved, too. Now my wife is seeing him (she has also had long-term lower back issues) and is seeing big improvement after just a few visits. I had been to the point of tears when I went to her, unable to sleep through the night, clean my own home, put my own shoes on and losing my ability to walk. She listened to everything I had to say! It was a lengthy first appointment where she ended up adjusting nearly every part of my body down to my fingers and toes. She was honest in telling me my body was completely misaligned and that although she couldn't promise my pain would go away 100% she COULD at least make it better and I trusted her. I started by going 3 times in my first week. I then dropped to two times a week for a few months and eventually I made it to where I am today, 2.5 years later, going just as needed with months passing in between. I am not pain free, I have little aches here and there but my quality of life is back!! I go weeks at a time now where I forget that I even have fibromyalgia! Within the first two weeks of seeing her I was able to tie my shoes again! Even though I didn't get to see the Dr., I still felt it was important to write this review as a physician's office staff is also greatly important to a patient's care. I called on Monday to try and make an appointment. I followed the prompts for a new patient wanting to make an appointment and left a message, giving them the information they wanted and a short history of my symptoms and medical history. By late morning Wednesday, I had not heard back yet and decided to call again repeating the same scenario. By Friday morning I still had not heard back from the office. I called again and chose a different prompt so I could speak with someone. I was very courteous; I understand that offices can get busy, maybe the scheduler had been sick or on vacation, etc. After sharing with the woman who answered the phone that I was wanting to make an appointment but hadn't been able to, she asked to put me on hold. 5 mins later, another woman answered and asked how she could help. I shared the name of the woman who was already helping me and she said, I know, she asked me to help you. So, I asked her if I could make an appointment. She said she couldn't do that, but took my last name and let me know that the scheduler would get back to me. She didn't know when that would be and we ended the call. 5.5 hours later I finally got a call from the scheduler only for her to say that they don't see patients who have previously been in a car accident. I thought maybe she confused me with someone else. I was not in a recent accident, there was no lawsuit or workman's comp case so I shared again that it was a closed thing and it happened over 4 years ago. She repeated, "it's our office policy that we don't see patients who have been in any car accident no matter when." When I said "OK. Do you mind me asking why? I've just never heard of this." She said "sure, it's just our policy." She had this information for a week. A week longer I now have to wait to seek treatment. I'm most frustrated with how discourteous they were and unapologetic for their lack of care and waste of my time and efforts. I'm also dumbfounded on this policy of not treating patients who have, at one point in their medical history, been in a car accident. It's not a recent injury with possibility of lawsuit or workman's comp, so what do they care? I would bet that a good majority of their clients have a physical trauma of some sort in their patient history. This boarders on discrimination and speaks volumes of this office to me and the care I am seeking. I'm happy to take my business elsewhere.

The facility itself is old, smells moldy, and the furniture is "icky". The receptionist isn't friendly. 2 stars, not one star because the nurses for both procedures were cheerful. The bill for the procedures for service performed June 2nd 2025, was sent to me on March 11th 2026. When presented with my dissatisfaction the Dr. and the District Manager cared less. Dr. Grove took his time to explain how the repair would be done, complications that may occur & postoperative concerns and restrictions. Surgery went well and a nerve block was given to keep post-op pain to a minimum. Everything went better than planned. As surgery goes it was a great experience. Having been a RN. I can be extremely critical but Dr. Grove was wonderful as was his bedside manner. He's a keeper! I have no hesitation recommending him to anyone of all ages. I have to have surgery done in the near future & plan to have Dr. Grove as my surgeon.
