My wife and I contacted Hillary to assist us with a dispute with our landlord. At first, Hillary was attentive and helpful. However, Hillary then sent us a scathing rant of an email terminating further services over her perception that we were unreasonable (our "crime" was sending a one-line follow up email three days later). Even if we were unreasonable as clients, her response was unbecoming as a professional and more fitting for your crazy aunt on Facebook. She could easily have just told us she would not help us, or that we needed to better respect boundaries if she perceived us too demanding, but instead she chose to unleash her stream of consciousness into a rambling diatribe that honestly made me just feel bad for her, like watching a small child during a tantrum. Would avoid her at all costs, was completely caught off guard how unprofessional she was and how easily she could lose her composure. may 12, 2025, i called this attorney to talk about my tenant law case , while am explaining my issue, thephone dropped instead of calling me back she decided to go do something else.!! so i had to call them back and i had to start from beginning what my name was and start my story all over again obviously i didn't take notes so this prompt me to look at their reviews and they weren't good but attorney has a horrible disposition and goes on rent with clients.!! and as i'm writing my review and i didn't even know how disrespectful it was for you not to call me back.!! the assistant decided to call back and placate me and finish the intake knowing good and well they weren't gonna take my case. it'll be better from there to say she can't take the case.!! as a matter of fact, if i would've knew it was her calling back i would've hung up because i was done with it, but i've caught so many lawyers. i thought it was a different lawyer.!! and just so you know calling a client back and play them and going through the motions. it's just as disrespectful and unprofessional as you not calling someone back when the call drops honesty is the best policy to say hey we can't take your case don't play games and be condescending. that's just pisses people off.!! one thing i've learned about looking for attorneys that they do not care about people. they don't care about you. they don't care about your case they care about how much money is in your case they do not go to school to help people they go to school to make money to be rich!! i have met so many rude attorneys oh my god it's just unable how they behave. it is very hard to find a good attorney. it really is. harder to find the attorney with a beating heart and compassion for anything. is that money? but one thing i have learned in this process when i'm done finding an attorney i don't ever want to need another attorney again. it is exhausting and daunting task and you gotta put up with a lot of bs cause they don't think they have to have manners!! but teach you don't get into trouble and need a lawyer cause it's a 50-50 chance that you can get a winner or loser. this experience will keep me out of getting any kind of trouble because it's a punishment that i look for a good lawyer. again next time don't call your clients back and pretend to be interested in case and knowing for well about 10 minutes later you gonna call so we can't case but let me tell you something give me a favor and what say about that they say youi dodged a bullet with this one !! follow your mind if it feels weird just keep going. i'm a woman so i hate things about women but women lawyers just seem to be so damn mean and disrespectful. i'm making an exception with my current lawyer. who's a woman? but lawyers like her that are awesome woman lawyers they are far in few in between. it's a sexist thing to say, but the truth is the truth to the point. i've been cussed out so much that to the point where i was like ok this is a woman i have to. i'm gonna bypass on this one. i shouldn't have to do that. it should be the opposite. i don't know if they think they feel weak. if they're nice i don't know what it is.!! follow your mind read more
