They took care of our father's cremation and final wishes in January 2022, and most recently, our mother's in October 2025. From the very beginning, they were extremely kind, understanding, and attentive to every detail with such care and love. Both Keshia and Tish were incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. They gave us time and space to grieve before taking our parents into their care, and the gentlemen who came to our home handled everything with dignity, sensitivity, and respect. I don't think anyone from the funeral services said more than 5 words to my family during the entirety of receiving friends. They are adequate at what they do but not very much above average at best. When reengaging them in any means of communication they are argumentative and not very sympathetic. If you had to chose go to Carpenter's in Cherryville instead.

The stone wall that surrounds the cemetery was erected in memory of Major John Davidson, a signer of the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence, May 20th, 1775, and his wife Violet Wilson Davidson and their descendants. Erected by Edward Lee Baxter Davidson. Homestead built 1788 and burned 1886. All of the graves have dates from many years ago. The tall obelisk denotes the final resting place of Robert Davidson, 1769-1853. Next to it, John Davidson, 1735-1832 and Violet Wilson who signed the Resolutions to Committee of Safety in 1776. The oldest determinable grave is that of Martha Fullenwider who was buried in 1835. The cemetery contains over 8640 graves. There is a dedicated Veterans section with appropriate signage to honor those who have served the United States. Under a bald eagle above, the Veterans monument has the engraved seals of the six branches of service. This is an active cemetery. I saw two separate burials underway when I visited.
