Glenmoore is just what their name implies. Gracious! They have been so welcoming from the beginning. Both Managers and Residents. Her studio apartment is clean and comfy and she has a nice size deck for patio furniture and flowers. Housekeeping does a good job coming once a week. Her apartment is always clean when I visit. I have had many meals with my mom and the food is delicious and the choices are many. I can't think of 1 diet that would not be accommodated. She has access to food at any time of the day. They have many activities, but the most important one for my mom are the fitness classes. My mom also enjoys the onsite Beauty Salon. There are so many more amenities to list, but i am running out of space to type. I also like that this is a smaller community that does not have a hotel feeling. It is charming. In closing, I wish we had moved her sooner.

The glenmoore residents reached out to her often after her move including attending her funeral. I can't %100 say that I think this is the best place, however I do know my grandmother enjoyed some of her last fond memories here, including the lady who made things and brought them to sell, the hat tea party, the ugly Christmas sweater context the soft serve machine, and the games the residents would play together. The night med tech refused to give him his morphine despite her admitting the dose was authorized in his chart, and despite hospice nurses coming in the middle of the night and again in the morning to clarify to her and calling the med tech's supervisor to get phone authorization. He never asked for things. He never wanted to be a bother, and he was begging me all night for pain relief. 2. They knew he had died but did not warn me. I arrived in the morning to visit him. I passed by the reception area where they greeted me but let me go into the room unprepared to find him dead. I was in there alone, checking his pulse and putting a mirror to his lips to check for breath. Eventually someone from the office came into his room to say sorry he had passed.

My mom is so much more content, she's more talkative and cheerful, and she's healthier now than she's been for the past few years (I think it's because the food they prepare is so fresh and healthy).
