They put up with all of the questions and indecisive people in our group so well. It took a couple months for us to figure everything out on our end but Bryce gave us all the options and then some and was awesome at responding to questions quickly. We asked for a ton of clarification as this is the first order for clothing we have done. I was so impressed with how professional he was in answering questions above and beyond what I would have expected for simple questions we had (which were probably repetitive and asked a million times). As for the product, it was AMAZING! Everyone was super happy with the quality of the hoodie itself and the printing was some of the best I have seen in a very long time! The turn around from when we finally decided on colours and sent in our payment was less than a week! We were so impressed! Especially with it being shipped from Sylvan all the way to Weyburn SK (an hour south of Regina) Understandably it wont always be this fast but either way it was awesome to have such an awesome turn around time and have an amazing great quality product. Good explanations and order time for these. I had engravings done on all of them and they also converted our company logo and the etchings of it on the trophies and plaque came out great. Didn't get any deals but I feel they really informed me well, worked with my timeline, were friendly (even dropping off the trophies for the fundraiser to the pool hall) and provided good service. When I went to drop off my computer he was acting a very bizarre manner - sort of frantic. He spoke in rapid fire sentences, ran in and out of the room and kept checking his watch. Then he got out some paperwork and started taking down my computer info which he did very thoroughly (but very frantically), presented me with a 3 page legal contract that was very convoluted (full of double talk and legalese), told me it was "just the usual stuff" and instructed me to just initial and sign. I expressed that I needed to read the contract and he replied that I could if I wanted to. He explained he had gotten the contract from a mechanic and it was to protect himself. The contract stated that: * He was not responsible for any damages that he did to my computer. When I asked about this, he said that while the contract did state that, he would 'make it right' if he did damage my computer. At this point I stated that I wished the contract was written in straightforward and clear layman's terms that were able to be understood by all. He replied that it was. I explained that if it was, then the expectations of both parties would be clear and concise. I had only his word that it meant what he said it did, and that he would 'make right' any damage he caused. He became upset and stated that it needed to be written that way and obviously not everyone had the same IQ. I did a sort of mental eyebrow lift at that. * That it was my responsibility to back up my data before hand as he was not responsible for any loss of data. When I expressed that it would have been nice to know that ahead of time, so I could have backed up all my data he said he could not be expected to tell me everything ahead of time. I didn't reply as he was becoming more agitated and began pacing back and forth in front of me. But it stands to reason, if I am responsible for backing up my own data prior to arriving (even though he told me he would be doing that), then I should know before I take my computer in. * That I waived all my rights to take him to court for any reason whatsoever, and I accepted that he had no liability for any of his work. * That if I was in any way unhappy with his service or work, I was prohibited from sharing what happened and I was not even permitted to share my thoughts online. At that moment I realized that this was probably why he had almost exclusively good reviews online. When I asked about this clause, he became visibly flustered, and said that yes, sharing any negative thoughts or feelings online was considered libel. I explained that it was only libel if it was untrue. This seemed to push him over the edge and he asked me to leave. He wished me good luck with finding anyone else to help me. I left there, went to the Geek Squad who informed me that all I needed was a security patch. They charged me $40 and took 5 minutes. Vince did not work on my computer, so I cannot say if he is good at his job or not, but it was discouraging that what said he had to do to fix it, was absolutely wrong. I waited to write a review until I had a chance to sleep on it, but then decided that it was only fair to everyone else out there, like myself, who relies on reviews if I shared my experience.

I emailed Vince my concerns and he was able to help coach me through the necessary steps to repair the concerns myself. I was reluctant at first as I just wanted the problems fixed but by the end, I felt more knowledgeable and independent in managing future computer related issues. Vince really wanted me to gain the knowledge for myself as it would make me better equipped to manage computer issues in the future. The person who I spoke with, apparently a "Senior Publicist" was actually unintelligible over the phone. Repeated himself multiple times but with canned lines that actually conveyed zero information about what they do and why they were interested in my book, despite my asking multiple times. Literally like he was reading from a sales call manual, but could barely read. A reputable publisher would *never* have this person be their first point of contact. 2. I am a published author, with a major publisher & global distribution. This person's pitch was promising the world , starting with distribution and marketing in Canada, & "when you're ready, we move to the big leagues and distribute in the US." For him to a. Say this and B. Say it as if he's dangling some big carrot clearly shows he has not done any research on my book. I'm already distributed in the US, Canada, and globally. 3. After 20 minutes of talking but saying nothing, I asked him if he could just email me the details of whatever he was proposing, and he answered with "sure, let's talk later. When is a good time for a call?" He was reluctant to email me at all, and when he finally did, it was more of the same. Vague promises of big things to come, many of which are already happening under my current contract. 4. He asked for confidential details about my current contract, ex: what my royalties are. So many red flags. Bottom line - they are a scam. A reputable publisher will not be asking you for money and will have thoroughly researched you and your book before ever getting in contact. Don't fall for this company.
