But everyone here is just great, they're friendly, professional and courteous, both at the front desk and the staff in back. They have gone out of their way to make the process smooth for me, making me feel as comfortable as possible. Their work is top-notch and have provided my doctors with exactly what they are looking for. Just a quick note... Don't forget to ask for a copy of your imaging on CD before you leave. I have had to come back or had to have it sent to my doctors later.

I was referred by my primary care provider to get an MRA of my brain because my family has a…read morehistory of brain aneurysms. I had previously made an appointment at a different imaging center and quickly cancelled due to my fear of feeling claustrophobic. I researched open MRI machines and found Medical Insights Diagnostics (Inview Imaging). I scheduled my appointment for a few weeks out and had it today. My appointment was at 10am and I showed up a few minutes prior. I filled out three quick forms and was taken into a changing room where I was able to store my phone, keys, wallet, etc. I was taken into the MRI room and was immediately put at ease with how roomy the open MRI is. I did not have to change into a gown for my scan and I even got to keep my shoes on. I laid down on the table and was given a cushion to go under my legs and two smaller cushions to go next to my head. I was also given ear plugs. I inquired about headphones to listen to music, but because of the scan I was having I was not able to listen to music. Since I was having a brain scan I had to wear a coil over my head, which was comparable to a football helmet. I was handed a "panic ball" that I could squeeze if I needed to be pulled out of the machine and they sent me inside. My scan lasted 20 minutes, but felt much faster. I was able to remain calm the entire time and even opened my eyes a few times. I cannot describe the relief I felt upon finishing my scan and exiting the machine. I grabbed my things, paid, and within 5 minutes I had the CD of the scan. If you have anxiety or claustrophobia I highly recommend coming here for your MRI. The open MRI is spacious and the MRI techs made me feel comfortable. I will be coming back here for any future MRIs.

We had to come back for a redo, as my baby did not cooperate the first time, and we were satisfied with how everything turned out. Marcella was our ultrasound technician for the redo and she had me laying down in different positions to help my baby cooperate during the ultrasound. I highly recommend this place :)

For example, I was scheduled for an MRI for my neck and in the process of having the scan I ended up being in so much pain that I was literally in tears! The two techs in here are fabulous, they are efficient, friendly, warm, professional and clearly very passionate about health and wellness. They genuinely care and make for a really positive experience. My small feedback on where BodySpec (corporate) could improve is that they seem to have switched policies and it's unclear from their comms and marketing that you lose the credit if you can no longer make the appointment. That and their customer support team (email and phone) is VERY slow / unresponsive and a 180 from the warmth and professionalism of the techs in Union St!

Staff took care of me and helped me adjust my positioning to get the most accurate scan. I got my results within a few hours online and I saw a full breakdown of my fat percentage, lean mass, bone density, etc... I would say it was a good value for the price and you can find discount codes online if you do some research (or use an LLM). Parking is kind of a pain though.

I'll cut to the chase and tell you it was surprisingly accurate, and within the margin of error, although Dexa is the "gold standard." I won't bore you with the metrics but I will bore you with the experience. First off, the location for the mobile service has ample parking and was conveniently located. The mobile van was clean, the technician - Suhban Khan was very professional and knowledgeable. Like myself, he was also a fitness coach and had solid knowledge not only with Dexa but also the leading body composition measurement devices on the market and smart scales. We had a good chat and I interviewed him briefly for the YouTube channel. No. For most people seeking general health I would recommend getting the good habits of proper nutrition, exercise and proper rest before worrying about getting a Dexa but...it will help keep you accountable to your goals and honestly, the subscription service is pretty affordable. I have been coming here for all my labs for the past several years now. The employees here genuinely cares for its customers/patients. Sure the wait time can be long at times or the front desk can be managed better, but these are minor compared to the level of service and compassion. Oh and we are in a pandemic for crying out loud. They are doing the best they can. Today, I went in for a blood draw. I was not expecting to see so many people waiting. Obviously, there was a backlog, and I became a little impatient too. After finding out that the phlebotomist was by herself managing both front and back office duties, i felt extremely guilty. Normally there are two people in the clinic. The receptionist was out to lunch. So the phlebotomist had been working nonstop without a break or lunch. Not to mention, she was doing a 3 person job. Due to covid, office hours have been adjusted and some staff were also furloughed. Although office hours are adjusted, the work continues for these healthcare workers. It doesn't stop. And they are putting their lives at risk for us. Please consider making an appointment if possible. This will help alleviate the wait time and frustration for everyone there. In addition, allow extra time as a buffer as these are unusual circumstances. Be patient, have compassion, and be kind.

When I checked in on Thursday, I was told to go elsewhere, like San Francisco. The phlebotomist John was very rude to me and told me they wouldn't see me today or the next day. Please do better, Labcorp and hire professional welcoming staff.
