Pizza was a category that I tried and tried many a places but never found the right fit. Before Speranza opened I was going to Pedros around the corner from this place which is ok but not great (6/10). Back on Speranza The wood fire pizzas are great and staff very friendly. Pricing is at the high end but it's genuine wood fire pizza so you need to expect that. I highly recommend the belissima and "the lot" (supreme). I would personally stay away from chicken as I found the chicken breast to be dry however please don't let this put you off this great little place. The shop itself does have some basic seating however I would recommend it is better suited to take away. Overall I rate 5 stars (9/10) over 20 odd visits.

When we picked up our pizzas and went to pay by credit card we were asked to pay with cash and had to walk to the ATM (their credit card facilities weren't down - they just wanted cash payment). The impression I got from my outings here suggested it was a pleasant half-way stop, where people simply walked in with their family during Fleurieu Peninsula travels.
