Last Thursday, I used their self-service car wash and noticed a $57 charge on my card the next day--when it should've only been $12. Naturally, I was a bit concerned, so I gave them a call to figure out what was going on. Carrie answered personally and explained that it was just a temporary hold on the card, which sometimes happens. She was super understanding and even told me if the hold didn't drop off the next day, she'd personally give me the difference in cash. Thankfully, the extra charge did fall off as she said it would--but what impressed me most is that she followed up with me the next day just to make sure everything was cleared up. That kind of customer service is rare these days, and it deserves to be recognized. Thank you, Carrie and Queen City Car Wash!

Plus, soap for sale, snack/drink vending machine, and bathrooms. The employee working was great, friendly and very active with cleaning and engaging with customers. I needed to wash a comforter and paid $7 for one of the 40-lb machines. It took 3 dry cycles at $1 each to get the thing dry--but not bad for $10 and an hour and a half of my time. The main downside is that the machines here only take cash and specifically only coins. There is a change machine which only spits out $1 coins. Great for the laundromat, not that useful elsewhere. I saw online that other locations now offer pay with card and that would be a little more convenient. Queen City Laundry also offers drop off service for $2.09/lb (10 lb minimum) and will clean your comforter for you for $19 (or $29 if it's down). They were also advertising their rug cleaning service, which I would look into using in the future.
