We rolled into Tupelo with a large riding group of about 30 people, with on rooms reserved. One of our peeps was a HGI member and they booked our rooms with no problems. They even let us park our motorcycle under a covered area, which was very nice and convenient. The hotel bar stayed open later to accommodate us, and the made to order breakfast was on point. All the staff were very nice and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be staying here as we pass through again in a couple weeks! read more

So we booked this hotel, because an artist we wanted to see was scheduled at the arena next door. I made a mistake in booking and booked on a Friday instead of a Saturday checking out on Sunday. So I called the hotel to get this corrected. BUT they didn't tell me until I came to check in that the room would be $300. Because the rate went up due to the event. Ok fine, they are renovating the hotel and after event several guests who were staying at the hotel obviously cannot all use the elevator at the same time. So no one offered to help us back to our room, and we had to wander down a dark hallway to the stairs and back up to our room. And the cherry on top, our "newly renovated room" absolutely reeked of urine... no thank you. I called to complain and was just told that "well rates just go up on the weekends depending on how you book". This is ridiculous, this is one and ONLY stay I will ever have at Hilton. I would have rather stayed at a Motel 6. On and the continental breakfast was just some thrown together prepackaged foods that looked disgusting. read more

Three stars is okay ... and this HGI stay is not okay. Housekeeping is not doing its job. Whoever is supposed to be checking the housekeeping is not doing their job. Too many mistakes. Too much deferred maintenance. - Glass sneeze guard over the steam table ... filthy. No way that mess all occurred this morning. - No bath towels in the room. - Lots of mildew in the bathroom. - Wallpaper in the bathroom is peeling. - Floor tile grout needs a good scrubbing. - Enamel on the tub is chipped. - No K-cups in the room (for the coffee maker) - No decaf available in the restaurant - I am tired and sore and looking forward to a hot soak. Pros- The employees were friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet was good and the lady that worked there was excellent! She was the only person working at the breakfast buffet. The hotel is in a good location with several restaurants nearby. Cons- The room was in need of a good cleaning. The shower had mildew in the shower stall area. The chairs and couch in the suite area needed to be cleaned. The king bed frame was strange because the frame was larger than the mattress, so you had to be careful when getting out of bed. The standard internet that comes with the stay was awful (1 star). We had to call the front desk a few times and it appeared that they needed more employees to work at the front desk due to the long hold times and it took a while for someone to answer the phone. read more

I stay at this property when in town for work. There are some things that need a little updating and TLC, but it's always clean and the staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. I always feel safe even when traveling alone. If my room is by an end door on the first floor, the banging door gets annoying, but that's it. I would like to give a shout-out to Lynsey at the front desk at this hotel. We had a challenging reservation of 10 rooms, and she handled it like a champ!! After 700+ miles and 15 hours on the motorcycles, it was nice to have a smiling fave welcome us and get us all in a room for rest. And then there was Julie at the bar... she mastered watering 30+ tired bikers with ease. Wanna talk about fabulous drinks?? Julie is a mixologist and will knock you out if you're not careful! Ok, so I'm a Hilton groupie b/c they sucker me in w/ reward points and free nights. Most importantly, they sucker me in with those soft, delicious, freshly baked cookies at the front desk, which btw you can have as many as you want. I live and die for those, and at this particular location, they had chocolate chip - macadamian - white chocolate - coconut cookies the size of my face; crack cookies. :P Service is very good - every response I got from the staff is a "yes Ma'am", very sweet southern accent which I totally dig. My only complaint is that the sheets are 50 thread-count and have been washed waaaaay too many times and belongs in a dumpster and not on a bed! read more

We stayed Mother's Day weekend 2022. In the staff's defense, I heard they had a soccer team there and it was also a festival going on so they were busy. The staff was really nice. My concern was the maintenance and upkeep of the property. The rooms were just mediocre. I had to have my room moved because the air conditioner was really loud, and honestly the comforters on the bed were itchy. The next room was better but I ended up finding an old press on nail and a half eaten ring pop by the night stand. We asked for housekeeping after our first night and we got new towels and the trash taken out. They didn't bother to make our beds let alone change the linen. In the process of dumping the trash they dropped some half eaten shrimp on the bathroom floor and left it. They didn't refill the Kleenex. It was just no care. They told us that we had to request housekeeping before 10am but that wasn't communicated to us ahead of time. It also has never been. Hilton policy, especially if you're a Hilton honors gold member. I wouldn't return. I'd go for the Tupelo hotel across the street or the Hampton inn off N. Gloster. read more

Well my husband was like , it's a Hilton it should be nice... well... ‍ it was okay. Maybe the same level as a Super 8. I was not impressed whatsoever, but the room was decent and the food in the morning was okay, so there's the 3 stars worth. The staff was pleasant, the public restrooms in the morning were HORRIBLE. I had to run to the restroom after breakfast and we were already downstairs, granted it's was New Years Day... but the stuff needs to be prepared. the women's bathroom had two stalls out of toilet paper, and one stall was just disgusting. Meanwhile, my husband said the men's room had beer cans all over the place. I would rather stay somewhere else next time I'm in town if they can't keep their public areas better than that. Any place I've worked has always had a schedule round the clock to check restrooms.... so I'm not sure what their issue was there. read more

Not up to Hilton quality! Outside looks good and lobby looks good. Pool is the smallest pool that I have come across and the hot tub was closed off, also the smallest I've seen. Our first room had mold and wallpaper coming off the walls. The second room still had hair all over the bathroom and tub from the prior guests as well as excessive lint, fuzz and other items under the beds. The front desk gentleman did his best to get it cleaned up without maintenance staff being present. (One extra star given) Next the A/C unit sounded like a helicopter taking off. This is not the worst Hilton property that I have ever stayed at, but is definitely close to the bottom. As a Hilton Hotels frequent purchaser and Hilton property owner. We can do better! read more

So we are regulars with the brand. We enjoyed our stay for the most part, but there could be some simple improvements with maintenance issues. Our shower drained SLOW. The towel rack is rusty. The sink has a broken drain. The wallpaper is peeling in the bathroom. These are all very sImple fixes that will make a huge difference. The staff was very nice. I only gave this 2 stars because the suite we got was amazing. It had a living room and 2 bathrooms. The staff was nice. The food wasn't to my liking which was disappointing after driving all day. The TRAINS run all night long and the horns are so loud. We are here for the week working and had to find another hotel after not seeping and the price was way to high for that. Terrible food... took 45 minutes to get my order. I made the mistake of ordering Salmon. It was over cooked, sweet (some crazy marinade) and terrible texture.. and it happens to be on a day when I am famished! The wine was brought in a lipstick smeared glass, and when asked to bring a different glass, they transferred the wine to a wet wine glass. The chairs are dirty, terrible customer service. The positive is that it's is close to downtown Tupelo, restaurants and activities. We stayed there for 5 days visiting with family in the area and NOT once did housekeeping clean the room or offer clean towels. I was told because of "COVID" we need to inform the front desk by 10am the day before if we wanted the room clean, this was not told at check in. Ended up in this motel because there were no vacancies anywhere. I was in Corinth to visit my dying father in the ICU. When he passed away there was no rooms at any hotel in Corinth and ended up here. This place was filthy dirty. It smelled of mildew & body odor. The table & ironing board showed mildew on them. The bedding was gross! Full of stains...sheets worn out! The floor had mud stains and felt sticky. Toilet seat wasn't secure and the vent in bathroom didn't work. Hair dryer didn't work either. This place is awful! Thankfully there was a Walmart close by where I bought sheets and a blanket to use. I was scared to even sleep and had a very restless night. Early morning semi trucks are starting up and that parked overnight at the gas station next door. To make matters worse they decided to have a worker use a gas powered VERY LOUD leaf blower to clear trash and leaves? In the parking lot. Uhhh, its August and no leaves anywhere! This place should be 0 stars!!!! In fact they should be forced to close down and make repairs. It was a very dirty and disgusting place! My husband and I stayed here on our way down to Florida last weekend as our halfway point. As an honors member it was easy to check in on the app, use my phone as a key and pick a room towards the end of the hotel to slip in as we got there late into the night. Breakfast was wonderful! Made to order and Eddie and Adella (I think that was her name) were EXCELLENT! In fact that was our deciding factor in coming back on our way back up to go home and stay again this weekend. I work in customer service so when I see good service I say something. It was a different cook today but we saw Eddie again today. Such a joy! Today was so busy and bless their hearts they were working so hard today but they did an amazing job! I wish I got the name of the cook because she was wonderful. We've stayed here many times passing thru the area. The bar is great and the rooms are just good, for Hiltons standards. Things are in a bit of disrepair due to age and cleanliness. The full restaurant is available but the staff is far from cordial. Due to covid, I'm assuming, you are no longer able to serve yourself from the fully displayed breakfast buffet. The one wait staff is running around trying to do his best but the cooks make it difficult. Unaware of the protocol, many patrons were confused and 'barked' at or beckoned across the lobby when not in compliance. The wait and cook staff loudly bickered about much of it and we contemplated just walking out after we placed our 'order' for the buffet choices they served you. The Tupelo Hotel across the street is newer, same price and has a restaurant. It will be our choice next time we are in the area. read more

This Hilton is worse than any hotel I've EVER been to! Light bulb and light fixtures on bathroom counters, soaked area around AC unit, blood stains on sheets, used water bottles on tables and hallway smells. Hot tub has been out of order for almost a year now. Each time we've come here, it's closed but they don't advertise it. Food quality way down. This place is a mess. About 4-5 years ago, it was one of my favorite hiltons to visit. We got to meet cool people who would stay there when performing and Bancorp. The staff seems to act like every thing is great with this place when it's in shambles. I'm thankful work pays for these rooms and not out of my own pocket. If you're looking to stay at a hotel in Tupelo, this is NOT it. Ran down, dirty, and I'm shocked it hasn't been shut down. I hope they make it halfway decent again. If I could give this place a zero score I would ! Stayed in room 212 for one night for business . Walked in the "newly cleaned and sanitized " room which had an aroma of covered up mildew , dropped my bags and left for business dinner . Returned to the mildew smelled room showered , laid down on the bed for a few to relax and within minutes I started itching ! Scratched and scratched and finally went to look at myself and had small red bumps all over my body . I thought it was my allergies so I began to cool my body down with cold water , laid across the bed again and within minutes I started itching and scratching AGAIN , yes bed bugs !!! Pulled back the covers and stains were at the lower end of the sheets . Took another shower and was not offered another room once I complained of the stains in the sheets , even at this point . A 228 dollar experience of vigorous scratching and itching that I will NEVER forget and NEVER return to ! Ok, through this review I'm going to ask you questions. Please answer aloud to your family (you don't have to). Do you like rusted bathtubs and showers? I'm not talking purposely rustic, I'm talking Copper Oxide. Our room has rusted a shower and a bathtub. Need extra toothpaste? Well, you can get from off the wall. There was toothpaste on the wall of our bathroom! I'm not trying to peel your paint, but would you like peeled wallpaper in your bathroom? Well, in our room the wallpaper was peeling off. Hey, you want to slide in your sleep? Our beds mattress kept sliding. Like bruises? We were always bumping our knees on the side of our bed. Ok, now, the good stuff! The breakfast cafe is great! Our server was SO kind! He was rushing around trying to serve everyone at once but, he was trying so hard! The beds were very comfy and, the breakfast was served hot and, it was delicious! It had a wide selection of fruit! Coffee was boiling hot! Orange juice had a nice tang to it. The chairs were comfortable and the tables are frequently cleaned because, we saw the main server (our server) cleaning all the tables after the people sitting there left for the lobby, their room, or the pool, workout space, or the vending machine rooms! Oh, I almost forgot the pool! It's the size of four hot tubs so don't be fooled by the photos. It's an indoor pool and it's chlorine (I'm telling you it's chlorine so if you ever get a reaction to it you'll know). Sadly, the hot tub was out of order. The deepest part of the pool is, 5 feet. I swam in there mostly by myself and still it was a decently small pool. This hotel has multiple outdoor patios were you can walk around or sit. read more

This hotel is in a great location and each member of the staff we encountered was helpful and friendly. The reason why I gave the hotel low marks centers around the condition of the hotel. Our room walls were full of dings and chipped paint. In the bathroom, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls in several places, sink moldings were separating from the walls, the shower head was rusted out, and the ceiling light fixture was cracked. The hallway carpet was stained. The fitness center is delapitated. Each ceiling tile has water damage, the room smells like mode, and only two out of three of the cardio machine actually worked. read more

This is a great place to stay that my wife and I like when we are traveling in the area. You can easily walk to a variety of upscale restaurants and bars. Then after you dine or and have a drink you can walk around the town square and or chill in the park. A couple of years ago the band Galactic was playing an outside gig in the park across from the hotel and we were lucky enough to get a room on the same floor as the band. I saw them in the hall and complemented them on the show. They were very nice and we ended up hanging out with a couple of them for a bit. That made our first visit memorable as well. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to score an outdoor show as well. This is a cool spot. read more

This was my first time staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Tupelo. We were having a family event at the Bancorp center that was around the corner so it was practical that we stayed at this hotel. When we arrived we were treated by Shondra and she was very friendly. She gave us our room assignments and when we got to our room we had an issue and immediately went back to the front desk in which Shondra assured us that she would correct the problem. She switched our room and the new room was perfect. We had a 3 night stay and every staff member there was welcoming. If I need to stay at a hotel again the next time I visit Tupelo I will stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. read more

When I review hotels, I first like to focus on the positives. This hotel, where we've stayed previously, is in a great location in relation to old downtown Tupelo, which is still managing to thrive with some new and thriving restaurants, at least for lunchtime. The hotel has an inviting and clean lobby area, and the suite rooms are spacious. Unfortunately, on this trip, we met with a few negatives which may prevent our future inclination to return. When passing the check-in desk several times a day, we rarely received any acknowledgement or greeting. I know that management works to increase this connection, so we thought that those in charge might want to target this failure. Everyone likes to be acknowledged and greeted when possible. I do not expect or even desire that my sheets be washed or refreshed every day. It's not environmentally sound, and I'm not a princess. However, I don't appreciate running out of toilet paper or continuing to smell last night's carry out sitting in the room because we have not received housekeeping services without explanation. I admit to putting the do not disturb sign for one hour out of the day. We had no coffee cups, wash cloths, or hand towels today and had to call down to the desk for them. They did provide them shortly afterward with no apology. I put our garbage bags out into the hallway and was told that someone would collect them eventually. The room and hall decor is dated, but I would hate to see this hotel go the way of so many others who don't pay attention to customer feedback to remain viable. I was hoping to update this review with positive info, but I think that this hotel has a significant housekeeping deficit. Other Hilton properties have someone who checks rooms with a checklist. We are Hilton Diamond members so see a lot of different properties. Here, we went a day or two without any housekeeping to visits with left us without toilet paper and any drinking or coffee cups. We had to ask for wash cloths and hand towels. I love to compliment well-run hotels, but this hotel has a way to go to excel at high quality service. read more

Excellent for its class. I have had a reservation here all week. Staff was friendly but usually seemed busy when I have had a question while passing. Room: Well appointed. Nice desk and comfortable chair only problem is you can't lock out the recline which causes pain if working long hours after coming back to the hotel. Beds are comfortable with the adjustable firmness technology. Comforters are breathable and not to thick. Parking: Plenty of parking wrapping around the hotel. It has been great to walk 30 feet from my car into my room because I am staying on the end. Well lit parking. Surrounding area: Well lit and in a decent part of town. Plenty of local places to eat within driving distance and a few close enough to walk to. If you have to drive a lot for work there is a gas station within a few hundred yards to top off before you start your day. Amenities: Decent pool decent gym Breakfast buffet 6-10 and dinner some days of the week. read more

This is the best place to eat Sunday brunch in Tupelo. I've eaten dinner here and it's good but the brunch is fantastic. It's the same menu every Sunday but there's a lot of options and it's all good! Great salad bar with mixed greens and not iceberg. Fried chicken with quality vegitables. Omlett station, prime rib station, and the best part....the dessert table. If you're looking for a place to go after church on Sunday...this is it. read more
