BED BUGS (A very high probability)--From our experience there were bed bugs in our bed and couch…read more Of course, the hotel would never confirm this. But I woke up with fresh bites every day before I realized it came from my hotel room. I found 3 drops of blood on the sheets, which is highly indicative of bed bugs. When the hotel investigated, they took pictures to send to the exterminator; and they moved us out to the room across the hall. The next night our former room (where I had been bitten) had someone staying in it. I asked the hotel to exterminate my new room with all of my things that had been exposed to bugs. They refused. I called Hilton Diamond Desk and was able to get my things exterminated. They, also, were able to get the hotel to shut down our former bug room, clean it, and quarantine it for a time. After a lot of back and forth, I was offered 50,000 points. This is unacceptable. I worked 4 days trying to make sure I didn't bring my possessions home with bed bugs. Hilton Corporate denied my claim for more points as the points come from the hotel, and the hotel refused the extra compensation. So here I am--50,000 points later and a bad bed bug experience hopefully behind me. But other guests should beware! Our exposure to Bed Bugs (?) was not handled satisfactorily and was a very bad experience for me. We stay in the Hilton Chain so this sort of experience would never occur. However, not even Hilton Corporate would or could make this right.

There's a bar in the center (sadly didn't get to enjoy it because I was here to take my MCAT). Everything was clean and it was very quiet. Your room has its own a/c unit which was perfect because I like it super cold and quick. The bed was so comfortable to sleep in. And I liked the layout of the room. Plenty of places to sit/lounge. The desk was movable(on wheels) which was nice so it could go by the window to get work done. The view wasn't the best but I did like the fact that 1. I could see my car from my room since it was in the same side 2. It had shades as well as sheer shades as well so if you wanted to completely block out the sun you could. Or if you want the natural light with a little more privacy (like me) it suits either style. Also it's not far from eating places or Kroger's/Walmart/CVS/Walgreens which was nice and convenient. All in all, glad I chose to stay here. PS. If you wanna know how the breakfast is don't ask me. It was an extra 5.46 to add it to the stay and I didn't wanna chance it‍. But REALLY FOR THAT PRICE OF STAY WHY MY BREAKFAST AINT INCLUDED??

The staff was very helpful and understanding to our leas than pleasurable company accommodations. They went above and beyond from day 1. Apparently there's a pasture in the back of this place containing a few cows, snakes are everywhere around here too. Seems as if it was built on the worlds largest ant foundation. Standing in one place for more than two minutes pretty much guarantees you to have a few little guys somewhere on your person. I've also saved a dozen or so beetles out of the swimming pool (outside) since my arrival here. Seems to be very clean, well kept, hospitable staff. Breakfast is 6-10, very good eats, southern style. Poolside is cool, especially because its upper 60's maybe 70's in Cleveland. Its 85-90 down here. Im loving that. Not much im Corinth though. There is however Waffle Houses by the dozens and a Battle if Shiloh Museum. Exxon Gas is a big one, lol. Im loving the relaxation, honestly. Title: Avoid at All Costs - 14 Days of Filth and No Housekeeping…read more Staying at the Best Western New Albany, MS was an absolute nightmare. I'd rather camp in a parking lot than endure that again. No housekeeping for 14 days. Despite putting the service sign out daily, I was left to buy my own toilet paper, take out my own trash, and even vacuum my own room after cockroaches - because apparently, DIY housekeeping is part of the Best Western experience here. After escalating my concerns to the manager after 8 days of kindly requesting a clean towel and taking out my own trash, he graciously let me switch rooms (thankfully no rust stains this time) and gave me a $50 discount for that night, which didn't even cover the mattress cover I had to buy to hide the mystery stains on the mattress in the first room or the slippers required to keep my feet and socks from turning black on the carpet. Oh, and don't forget the brown, sediment-filled water that came out of the tap. I had to get bottled water just to brush my teeth. This isn't mentioning the broken fridge, construction noise, broken equipment in the gym and business center. Those are minor inconveniences. It adds to a wholistic nightmare. The cockroaches were a delightful bonus. If you're thinking of staying here, reconsider or bring your own toilet paper and vacuum. I could also save you the trouble and will happily lend you a tent.
