We were also charged a dispatch fee. Neither the dispatch fee nor the travel charge were disclosed when we booked the appointment. This resulted in about $167.00 padding on an already hefty bill. The client, my mother, is a frail senior on a fixed income. Bilking seniors is not a good look, A-1. His work is just as described, "fine carpentry". His attention to detail I've never seen before. He's fast, accurate, and most importantly, he can be trusted. We hired someone to build our cottage in Embden, but unfortunately a lot of the work was shoddy and embarrassing, but Paul was willing to correct others' mistakes, and there were many. He even corrected the plumber's inability to install our shower correctly! He can build anything, and his creativity matched mine, which I thought I had good ideas! Paul can visualize the best fit for every situation and more importantly, what will "look" the best. He customized our entire project: Reframed new stairway (dangerous, not to code), reframed crooked walls/ceiling, flawless drywall install/finish, floor to entire ceiling shiplap for entire 2nd floor En Suite, installed LVP flooring, designed/created custom push-latch doors that seamlessly blend into the walls for storage areas, customized built-in coffee bar area with antique buffet, framed windows/doors per out specifications, pantry shelves, 3 custom closets with shelves, installed 3 doors (even gave us an antique door turned into sliding "barn door", designed/installed a huge, stainless range hood that no one else would, replaced cedar v-match siding where a window once existed (due to new stairway) and even a lean-to over the hot tub outside! We feel very fortunate to find Paul here, and I can't recommend him enough. He is a gentleman, he's respectful, and he will treat you right, and that's something rare! I scheduled an appointment, but the company reached out to reschedule because they were busy, which I understood and agreed to move it to the following day. The second appointment was scheduled for 9:30 AM. I waited for two hours expecting someone to arrive, but no one showed up. I eventually had to call and text for an update, only to be told they were unable to come out again. I understand that things happen, but having to reschedule twice and not receiving communication until I reached out myself was disappointing. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and was frustrating as a customer who was trying to get a needed repair completed.

You arrived an entire week early and only called to inform me as you were in my driveway... 2. We were charged 1800 dollars if we did the cleanup after...the mess your company made with my yard was beyond what a normal cleanup should have been. My yard is full of holes n ruts and bark..you cut 6 to 8 foot logs and let them fall 20 feet to the ground...logs that are impossible to move... 3. Your wife demanded payment immediately and made me feel guilty for not having my checkbook waiting...You showed up unannounced a week early. 4. We were charged 1800 for both of the trees Fully down...After....showed up and made his deal you left most of the bulk of the trees standing and we were still charged for the full service...We are owed money like 500 dollars at least... 5. The half cut trees sat there for 2 weeks untill your company once again showed up unannounced and made yet another mess of my yard...looked very unprofessional and also unsafe...my yard is tore up from another deal that was not mine... 6. Another week has gone by and the trees are still there...you looked right at me and said "We will back this afternoon to get those trees removed"...that was almost another week ago...still here half in my driveway now...I bet you will show up unannounced again with a big pulp truck that will destroy my property even more ...
