Okay guys, my spin on this Hilton Hague Hotel. If I could give (6) stars I would. It's been a blast here, very impeccable professional & friendly staff. Greets every guest & makes you feel Welcomed. Note: you're only 9 to 12 mins walking from Den Haag Centrum Station or you can take a 7 min Uber if traffic allows. The ambiance & decor is spot on at 1st glance it looked like Sephora. Lol It's huge too! Several meeting rooms, a 24/7 Gym on the 1st floor. Large size bar / Blue Blood restaurant. Hotel is very quiet, however, if you're in the rear of hotel it gets a little noisy from the garbage truck pick up @ 3am . It's not their fault. All spaces are very clean Lounge areas to sit on every floor if you want to just chill out from your room. In Gym area they have a nice coffee kiosk w/ string bean coffee & lounge area to just sit & relax or read. The location is perfect bc you're near lots of stores & restaurants. May I suggest The O'Casey's Irish Pub for Guinness Stout or Belgian beer & the Fish & Chips is awesome. Ohh, you're like 750 feet from The Palace. All staff is meticulous in your comforts. I recommend this hotel for business or leisure. read more

Very accommodating and extremely helpful and friendly customer service. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Location is ideal, fairly quiet for a city. There is great variety of good restaurants nearby as well as access to public transportation. read more

DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL FOR BUSINESS! Getting on to the WiFi requires a Hilton Honors account. The rooms do not have plugs for phones, only electrical outlets. You must buy a connector for your phone if you didn't bring one. In short, no WiFi was possible and it cost me €20 to plug in my phone and no receipt was provided for the plug purchase. Located close the Centrum and the train station, this is a very nice Hilton. It's a great alternative than the expensive hotels in Amsterdam, yet, you're only a 30 minute train ride away! Den Haag has a lot to offer and I recommend this Hilton to people visiting from the United States. The lobby is very nice and the staff are friendly. The rooms have been refreshed recently, new shower products are on the wall as opposed to those little bottles which were difficult to open or read the label in the shower. read more

Very nice clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a spacious room and appreciated the separate shower and tub options. The breakfast was excellent, it was impossible to not over eat. My only complaint was I hated the pillows and the A/C didn't work great. read more

I didn't stay in the hotel however the bar in the lobby is beautiful and the staff are extremely nice. Would love to come back and try the restaurant. It's also walking distance from centrum which is super convenient. read more

The room looked nice and the bed was comfortable. My reason for only two stars? #1 - Who designed this hotel? It certainly wasn't a woman? Why is it only a razor can be used in the outlet in the bathroom where there is a mirror? My only option for using an electrical outlet was down by the floor in front of the full length mirror. So yes, I sat on the floor to dry and style my hair! That was lots of fun! #2 Why on earth did the person (man, I assume) use frosted glass to enclose the bathroom??? How absurd! So the person who gets up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom or the person who gets up early to shower turns on a light and wakes up their spouse or partner! That glass is the stupidest design element I've ever seen! #3. The iron didn't work worth a tinkers dam! All in all, I think this hotel needs some revisions to get a better scores from me! read more

Check-in was smooth and easy and the clerk was pleasant. The room was spacious and we had a great view. The bed was comfortable and the linens were great. Bathroom was stocked with toiletries and shower had plenty of hot water and water pressure. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were professional and pleasant. The room has a safe. If you are a Honors Diamond member you'll receive extra perks as well (executive lounge, breakfast in either restaurant or executive lounge, and more). Stayed here for about a week. The Hilton here is very well designed. It bears a lot more elegance than I'm used to in the U.S. and even in other parts of Europe. The staff was in general nice and helpful. I like the self-serve coffee at breakfast - most of the days I just took a whole canister back to my table. I'd like more healthier breakfast options outside of yogurt and fruits - I can only do that for so many days. I got the weed burger (no, it's not that kind of weed) from the restaurant while working late one night. It was expensive (!!) even by hotel standards, but it was delicious. read more

This hotel is conveniently near an attractive walking/shopping street, and the room was comfortable. The staff (especially the restaurant staff) was uniformly positive, cheerful, and seemed happy to be helpful. The astonishing breakfast buffet included a whole gluten-free table, an entire honeycomb in its frame, a salad bar, omelet station, roast beef and other meats, smoked salmon, variety of cheeses, yoghurts, yoghurt parfaits, specialty juice blends, breads you could slice yourself, pastries, rolls, crackers....plus scrambled eggs, sausages, sauteed mushrooms, etc. The executive lounge was a pleasant place to hang out when we were too tired to go out in the rain--it had a rooftop view, a coffee machine that made cappucinos, jars filled with Japanese rice crackers and wasabi peanuts, and in the evening, a variety of hot and cold appetizers and even desserts. Our only quibble was that room lighting wasn't very bright, and the room had dark walls, which didn't help. read more

My room on the executive level was very large and had a hug bath tub and walk in shower. Refreshments and snacks were good in the executive lounge, but there was liquors available. The staff there were very polite. The front service at check in and check out were great and helpful (I had a shipment sent there). The doorman was fantastic and helpful with moving large luggages. The staff at the business center was very helpful in making color print outs for my conference. The elevators are small and a bit slow, but that is a minor point. Internet was only free in public spaces - kind of annoying. There is "Bar Sparks" lounge in the back corner of the hotel. This is no ordinary bar. It has well trained mixologists. Michael is the lead guy there and is helping the other bartenders to work on their practice. I had fantastic drinks that ranged from smoky martini's to refreshing gin drinks. read more

Had the Best. Service. Ever. in at the Hilton in The Hague. We landed in Amsterdam at 7 am and arrived in The Hague at about 10:30 am. The person on desk duty quickly surmised we had been on an overnight flight and assisted us to one of two rooms (four adults and one child). Our second room was ready within 30 minutes (Desk Agent made it a priority). We had a connecting room - my husband and I were traveling with our seven year old and two mothers. One room had a king and the second room had two twins. The hotel brought in a rollaway bed for our son. The staff (all of them) were super friendly and were very gracious. They helped us with everything from drinks, to taxis to playgrounds. When I go back to The Hague, the Hilton it is! The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of everything. We did not rent bikes but they are available for hotel guest. There is also a free shuttle to the Shell office. Two thumbs up to the lovely staff at this gem of a hotel. read more

I've stayed at this Hilton for several times now for bus. trips, primarily because of (a) obsession with points via sticking with the same loyalty programs and (b) location for weekday commute. Key points to note about the hotel: - If you have to do room service, the menu isn't that great so keep it simple and basic otherwise it's better to go down to the hotel restaurant (Pearl Resto) that's connected to the lobby; - Bar Spark is in the back corner behind the Pearl Resto, and that also serves food but more like finger food / bar snacks, but can be filling. They have a full bar and several beers on tap, but unfortunately they don't have Heineken Extra Cold (a true beer that's extra cold - delish!); - Fitness center is small and can be busy some mornings (2-3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, 2 bikes, free weights, ample machines). If you are a runner and can't find a treadmill, you can run outside straight to Scheveningen Beach and back which is about 7km roundtrip (4-5mi) staying on Scheveningseweg Road. Apparently, if you run more centrally into Scheveningen Park towards the pond/lakes, it's beautiful according to local co-workers. I haven't tried this route (next time)! - Rooms are designed differently regarding interior spacing (color schemes are the same, but the layout of the basic items are different), so it's nice to check in every week and have a different room setup so it doesn't get boring and repetitive especially if you are a frequent guest. - I didn't have any issues with the beds and found them comfortable! - Room temperature is always freezing (Note: I am generally cold) but it's relatively easy to adjust, just read the pictures. - Internet is not included unless it's part of your package rate (e.g., corporate) but there's free WiFi in the lobby that stretches to restaurant and bar (although strength can be weak sometimes) - Breakfast is close to 20 Euros, unless it's part of your package rate or you have status. Location relative to other things: ~ 10 min walk down a popular shopping and restaurant street (Noordeinde) to town's city center; ~ 20 min walk to the town's central train station via city center (or quick cab ride usually just under €10 through the taxis in front of the hotel); ~ 10 min tram ride to Scheveningen Beach; - Plenty of restaurants/bars/coffee shops within walking distance ranging from 2 min walk and more (Noordeinde & Denneweg Streets) - There's a small convenience store right across the street as well as a bar (Prins Taverne) read more

A very good Hilton, walking distance from all shopping and dining. Rooms very spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast to expensive , go to the Gouden Hooft, excellent value. Visit thr musrum next door or take the tram to Scheveningen and get some fresh sea air. read more

Where are the USB ports???? Only negative. Other than that 5 stars. Great restaurant, great bar, great checkin. Really can't say anything bad except when 2 people have to charge several devises some USB's would be nice. read more

Excellent hotel for X-mas and NYE escape. Perfectly situated near downtown The Hague and very close to the best shopping street in the city "Noordeinde". Scheveningen beach is only a short 15-minute car ride away. Love the high-end interior and amazing room finishes (like the double rain shower in room 501). The valet parking might seem Iike an expensive add-on at first, but turned out to be a perfect "extra" since finding a parking space nearby is very difficult. We ordered a gluten free breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the great service and wide range of choices offered. The Executive lounge on the 5th floor was just fine. I guess the terrace will be very nice during summer time, but the Dutch winter didn't allow us to enjoy the nice views of the city. I've stayed in many Hiltons, and am proud to say that my "hometown Hilton" definitely belongs in the top 5 for Hilton hotels I have seen. We look forward to spending many more nights in this hotel whenever we're in town! read more

I've stayed here before and found it to be a decent place; however, this time is very different, hence the rating. I arrived late in the evening due to flight delay (no big deal because I had guaranteed late check in) and I think the person at reception was new because it took 5 minutes or so to explain how the wifi worked. I work in IT - I didn't really need an explanation to further prolong my ability to relax after a long day - but it was fine. Unnecessary, but fine. I get off the elevator on the second floor and the entire level stinks! It smells like mildew and urine. I'm not sure what happened, because it didn't smell like that 2 years ago when I was previously here - but the stench is noticeable and gross. To make matters worse, the hotel has decided to cover the stench in the rooms with an overpowering men's cologne smell. It's nauseating. I get to the room and there is loud street noise. I soon realize the room faces the street and a window is open. This means that the air conditioning is off. The weather was 84 degrees F today, which is a bit hot for absolutely no air conditioning, so the room was humid and stuffy. Figured out how to close the window and turn on the AC and went down to ask reception if any restaurants were open nearby. According to reception, everything closes at 10pm on week nights and I was told to go back to the room and get room service via the menu on the tv. I return to the room and the room service menu isn't intuitive or clear about what is and isn't actually available. It's difficult to find the actual menu and the screen automatically reverts to television show mode, so I had to redo the room service menu access several times before I made it through all the option. I picked a few things and called the number stated on the tv. No answer. I press the "Room Service" button on the phone. No answer. I call the room service number stated on the tv, again. No answer. I call Guest Services and explain that I want to order food but no one is answering. He tells me to call again and he'll tell someone to pick up. Terrible customer service when he could have easily transferred me or assisted me himself. I order four items and am told only two are available on the Night Menu, despite no indication of what the Night Menu actually contains. It's now 12:30 am. I'm exhausted and starving and instead of relaxing and enjoying my new arrival to Holland, I'm lying on a bed that's as hard as a rock, waiting for room service to show up while trying to ignore the loud motorbike engine noise from the street and the Ax-body spray meets Nursing Home stink that's in my room.
