It was so bad I had to scrape the sickening sweet sauce off the chicken. No salt or pepper were provided so I couldn't even spruce it up with salt. The roasted potatoes would have been good with a savory gravy..but not with maple syrup sauce...and without salt...just bland. I'm a vegetarian and my husband isn't. We ordered 2 vegetable dishes which were supposed to come with rice, as well as 2 meat dishes and an egg dish for me. Well instead of the egg dish, they gave us breaded ribs. The chow mein dish my husband ordered was heavy on the noodles and very light on meat and vegetables. We got no sauce for his ribs or the chicken balls he ordered and no rice. So I ended up with two dishes of vegetables with a small amount of fried noodles, but that was all. My husband got almost no vegetables, two breaded fried meats and lots of noodles. Not a very balanced meal for either of us. By the time we got the food back to our hotel room, figured all this out, it was 7:00, and we knew it wouldn't get sorted for another hour so we decided not to complain or try to get the dish we ordered. As far as the food, it was hot. The vegetables were not especially flavourful. My husband had difficulty with how dry the ribs and chicken balls were with only a few soy sauce packets. I gave him some of the liquid from my dishes but the no sauce thing was really annoying. I understand that they were probably busy, but the correctly filled out order was stapled to the bag, how hard is it to double check?
