When you arrive, it's a small office on the 2nd floor so you will walk up stairs to a foyer. Be prepared to wait a little bit as they review and process your return. Then be prepared to walk out with all your tax worries off your head and a happy heart because you know you've been taken care of by people who care about making your tax concerns disappear. I've had an issue with my 2020 taxes due to an IRS error and have been trying to deal with it with a tax advocate going on 6 months. It was so frustrating and it made me hesitant to do my 2021 taxes because I wasn't sure if their error would affect this tax year too. As a result, I put it off as we're prone to do. I kept asking friends for referrals and nobody had any. So I turned to yelp and wrote a bunch of companies explaining my situation. I had lived half the year in GA and half in CA, had lots of W-2's from acting and other jobs, 2 class action lawsuit payments, and that stupid 2020 issue. I spoke to 2 firms, one was charging 3 x what everyone else was charging after refusing to give me a quote over the phone (red flag). The other said, oh you'll never get your refund back. Thanks dude. I had almost given up hope when I got a very insightful email from a woman at this company. I knew instantly they knew what they were doing because they spoke like the tax advocate and also had been in business for 26 years. I did my due diligence because it was kinda far from where I lived and I am moving out-of-state on Friday. I didn't want to drive there, find out it wasn't legit and then be stuck. They were legit and after speaking to the daughter of the owner, made plans to meet with them. And man, I'm so glad I did! It was worth the drive because not only did they whip out my 2021 taxes quickly and efficiently, they also submitted an amendment to my 2020 taxes because they instantly saw it was an IRS error also! I was so relieved I almost cried I was so happy to finally have this issue resolved and so quickly! What I really like about the business and the people who run this place is despite their humble attitudes, they really know taxes inside and out. I spoke to Jorge as he was making sure everything was done accurately and turns out they do major government businesses in the area and have done so for 12 years! In addition, they handle professional athletes, celebrities and other high-powered individuals who most likely have more complicated tax issues than I will ever have. The entire process was professional, private, and polished. They provided me with documents I needed to mail in addressed envelopes and clear instructions. They filed my 2021 taxes electronically very efficiently and quickly. I felt very good about the entire experience and can't recommend them enough. read more
