I had a 1pm haircut and was on the chair by 110, so not much of a wait. It was a good haircut. I told him what I wanted and he proceeded to go in that direction. High fade, hard part on the right, comb over to the left. Took him about 30ish minutes to complete. Very good at what he does. Steps back multiple times to see if it's all even. Gentle and efficient with his cuts. The hard part is slightly too wide. Will specify next time not to have it so large. But it's straight and clean. Wish the fade was higher but again I didn't specify. What's important is that it's even and it looks good. No razor burns noted to the back side. Conversational. Easy to talk too. A little opinionated, but everyone's entitled to their opinions. He even gave me a brief neck/back massage which was really nice. Total bill was $28, with tip was $35. Haven't paid those prices vack home since prepandemic. So that was nice to see. For that price and the quality of the cut, I will definitely be back!! Just make sure you make an appointment, or you'll possibly be waiting for a while.

I saw a sign for a skateboard shop and wanted to pick up a shirt for my grandson who lives in Virginia, little did I know that this awesome barber shop was a skate shop also!! I headed in and was greeted right away by a very friendly guy who asked how he could help me , I said I was looking for a shave and a shop shirt , I got hooked up with Juan . Juan stuck his hand out to give me a hand shake and I knew I liked him already . Remember, I have never been to a real barber shop. The vibe of the shop was very welcoming and Juan sat me down and I let him know I would like a shave from the shoulders up . Juan started off by using an electric razor to cut the length down, it was pretty short to begin with. Then it was hot shaving cream and a straight razor. I like to chit chat but for this I wasn't moving around. Juan is a true professional he explained what he was doing and why he was doing it , " it's tradition, a lost art" he said , a hot towel felt good after that ! Then another specialized electric razor, then after shave and another hot towel, I'm sure I left out some of the steps , but when I go back and I will go back I'll do another review. When we were done Juan stuck out his hand and gave me another hand shake , I bought a shirt and couldn't stop thinking about what I had been missing for 50 years . Don't wait !
