Cashier had a very nasty attitude. I am Louisiana born and raised. Came to visit from Connecticut, made the mistake of dropping in to gas up. I could tell from her looks and attitude she hates people that are my color(Black). I emailed owner twice and no response which means he is ok with his employee behaviors. Emailed him almost 6 days ago no response. Black proper DO NOT stop at one of their locations. We are not welcomed. read more

This particular Shell station never accepts my credit card at the pump. I have visited this Shell station numerous times in the past and not once did it accept my credit card. I would swipe my card, enter in my zip code, and then it would prompt me to see cashier. My coworker experienced the same issue today as well with his own credit card. To get gas, I had to purchase a set dollar amount worth of gas first and then take a refund on my card of what's un-used afterwards. It adds a few more extra minutes to my commute since I have to walk back and forth for payment and receipts, not to mention wait in line for the cashier. read more

This gas station is probably the greatest has station I've visited in a while. I go almost every lunch break to pick up a hot and fresh pizza. I'm always greeted with a smile. read more

Alas they have announced the construction of a brand-new complex that I am sure will have a marvelous taproom. With all that being said, it doesn't matter about Parish's taproom. Their beer is so good I would drink it out of an oil pan while sitting in a port-o-potty. I have been to 420 breweries across the country including most of the ones on all the best breweries in the country list and Parish has my favorite beer, Ghost in the Machine. Ghost and all its variations and collaborations cannot be beat for hopheads like me. Parish could only make Ghost, and it would still be a 5-star brewery but there is so much more. Their limited-edition dessert stouts are fantastic, Canebrake is the perfect "everyday drinker", and their other hazies like Bloom and Atticus are phenomenal.
