This morning I was in need of both, breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, I was tempted to get one of the donuts which are always flavorful and fresh. They had a glazed donut with pink icing and sprinkles, but I stayed strong and went with a Blueberry Muffin, instead. The muffin had good flavor, but was on the dry side. Made wish I had grabbed a small bottle of milk, too. For lunch, I grabbed a Cheesewich from the deli case. It's a low-carb treat with, a slice of Hard Salami pressed between two slices of Colby Jack Cheese. To accompany it, I got a small bag of Fritos, my favorite salty snack. I couldn't go totally low-carb. The staff is friendly and I always like looking at the years of service on their name badges. There's a lot of long term workers. When checking out, I always make sure to get a quick pick Powerball ticket. Keeping my fingers crossed that I win someday.

Once my photos are ready, I get a text message and off I go to pick them up. Typically, it takes just under two hours and I have a new photo in my frame. If I need a new frame for my new photo, I can get that here too. The staff I interact with at the photo department, are always professional.

He said she busy stocking, I can wait in line. He acted like he didn't care either. What happened to great customer service. I guess they forgot CVS is across the street... I used to only go to walgreens because of the service... it's a shame when you can feel the uncomfortableness when you walk in to a business, no smiles, no greeting of good morning. I've ALWAYS had problems with this location. The latest one is, I called in a medication on Monday…read moreand they said it would be filled by Wednesday. Wednesday, they called and said it would not. They called Thursday and said it was ready and that it needed to be picked up by June 8th or 10th. There are NO refills left on this medication. So, I thought that I would start fresh and transfer the medication to OptumRx on Friday. OptumRx said it would take 7-10 days for transfer. On the following Wednesday I went to pick up the already filled medication at Walgreens. They said there wasn't anything to pick up because they received a transfer request by OptumRx on Monday (June 1st) so Walgreens cancelled the already filled prescription saying that now being transferred, Walgreens doesn't have a valid prescription. For years, this pharmacy location has always had their head up their $ss!! I'm done with them and by the way, I'm out of the mess that they filled and refused to give me. Nice job Walgreens.

The customer service is what you'd expect from a small town market, personalized and friendly. They offer monthly meat bundles that are budget friendly. Their brats will put, Johnsonville Brats to shame and Jimmy Dean's sausage cannot hold a candle to their sausage. Proof that buying local is a good thing. Some of their brands are generic, but with today's economy that is a good thing. There are lots of single little coolers around the store, filled with perishable products. Take note of the prepared foods near the butcher counter. You'll find some delicious side dishes for those tasty brats. Another end-cap to check out, is their branded spices.
