Right after walking in someone asked me if I had an appointment. Reluctantly I told them "no" figuring they would tell they didn't have any openings, but much to my surprise, they said it wasn't a problem and would get to me a few minutes. I might have waited 5 minutes before "Laura" welcomed me to the chair. I'm new to TX and am so used to going to the same person for about 20 years. Laura asked me whether I preferred scissors or blade cut and what number blade. All the things I have no idea about. I asked Laura if she could just cut it what she thought would look good and she went ahead. Laura used both scissors and trimmers and I don't remember the blade numbers but they were all perfect. When she was done, it looked perfect! And to top it off, the straight razor neck shave! There's nothing better at the end of a haircut than to get the back of your neck cleaned up with a straight razor! I've tried several barbers and haircut places since moving to Texas and this is without question the BEST! There is only one drawback... I live about 100 miles away! I was down here meeting with some people and don't expect to get here regularly. If only they could open another location up north and Laura would work there say every six weeks :) But if I ever do find myself headed down this way, I will absolutely make an appointment to come back and see Laura. Sadly, it is not just the employees who are disrespectful.
