When at Grand Forks this is a little drive, but always try to make at least 1 trip out here for lunch. They have a daily weekday special and if you get on the mailing list, they will email you the monthly specials.
Today was meatloaf, green beans, potatoes and a roll. Lets be honest... this is the closest to home cooked food you will get out here, especially in a town full of chain restaurants. It is a little challenging to find if you are unaware of where this town is.

Drinks come in jars like the old school bars. Most of the patrons look like they work nearby in the fields or on the train tracks and occasionally from the base. I think I spotted the Mario brothers in there with their overalls, hat, and bushy mustache. read more
