Fun place to hang out and the beer is cheap. Trivia is hard but still a good time. The karaoke is fun too.

With a large menu that spans multiple different options you will definitely find something on the menu for even the pickiest of eaters. The service is always on point as well with our server being fast and efficient to both get us seated and take our order. We got a booth inside since it was too hot to dine on their veranda. Our waitress was prompt with our orders and my huckleberry mule came out in a reasonable amount of time. The drink itself was OK. It's fruitiness was a bit odd but at $8 it was a good deal. I ordered the boneless wings with the sweet chili sauce. They were quite good. My wife took advantage of their Monday night $5 off all burgers special and got their specialty burger with bacon, peanut butter and a fried egg on it. Sound gross but she liked it though it was a bit overdone at pink since they wouldn't do medium rare. Prices were reasonable though they have a credit card surcharge. The big complaint was how long we had to wait for our food to arrive even though by the time we ordered the crowds had dissipated. It was a looooong time.

Unfortunately had a very disappointing experience visiting the Board Room for the first time, and most of the issues lay in the fact that it was severely understaffed, with only one employee working every single station in the place - registers, drive-thru, drinks, and making food. This poor girl could not handle a small rush of 8-10 customers. We waited at least 30+ min for our coffee and probably another 15 min for two breakfast sandwiches. Their menu is impossible to find online and they don't have any social media updates indicating seasonal options. Even once you get inside, the menu is on three screens on the back wall, and difficult to read due to tons of options and small print. My biggest issue, however, was the fact that there were absolutely zero descriptions of any of the drinks! Many of the specialty drinks had fun names, but no clue what was in each one. I certainly did not want to stand at the register asking the only employee to explain each one. Went with the cold brew flight, which was also disappointing. You choose 4 different syrups and have them topped off with like 2oz of cold brew and whip cream. I guess if you hate coffee and want something super sweet this might work, but I couldn't taste the cold brew at all (also an indication it wasn't very strong). My husband got a s'mores mocha, which was delicious, but took 35 min to receive. Breakfast sandwiches on everything bagels were tasty, especially liked the chipotle mayo they give you as a sauce on the side. If I'm going to wait 45 min for food though I would go out to brunch at a nice sit down place instead. Don't stop here if you're in a rush to get anywhere. Ample parking in the lot outside, drive thru available too.

Then it got worse. Kitchen was very slow. I had the Reuben. It came out alomost cold, slightly warm. Sigh. Hit foods should be presented hot. Worse yet it wasn't really a Reuben. A very small amount of corned beef mixed into a cheese spread with a tiny amount of sauerkraut. The bread had been grilled though. Not an $18 sandwich. Making a Reuben in Nat difficult- use plenty of corned beef - should be at least an inch thick. Next level would be to make the corned beef in house. It's nog that hard. Use snappy, crunchy sauerkraut. Next level - make it in house. They are already making other pickled things - add sauerkraut. Use real Swiss cheese. As stated the bread was ok but a marbled rye would be better. Serve it hot. Go for it here - have the best Reuben in Grand Forks!!!! I expect this review to fall on deaf ears. At the end of the day I paid $150 (including tip) for a pretty disappointing experience (except for the olives) and cold food. I hop they can pull it together.

Then we looked more carefully at the reviews and noticed that many of the recent reviews in the last year were quite negative especially regarding their service. We had second thoughts but since we wanted Detroit style pizza we forged ahead. We were able to get a booth in the bar instead of getting shuttled to the upstairs (it was raining so their roof deck wasn't an option). Our server was prompt and since we knew this type of pizza can take awhile to bake we ordered right away. We got the Barry with two types of pepparoni and hot honey. After the server took our pizza and drink order (happy hour beer prices $2 off) we decided to get a caeser salad. At first she balked since the pizza order was already in there was no guarantee it would come out before the pizza - hmmm an example of the service issues others wrote about? But minutes later she told us she expedited the salad and sure enough it was out in 5 minutes well ahead of the pizza which only took slightly more than 20 minutes which is fast for Detroit style pizza. The pizza was very good. Though some complain that the edges are burnt this is the cheese. It doesn't taste burnt it tastes great. This is Detroit style pizza done right. The sauce was sweet with a bit of heat from the hot honey. The salad was OK. Service was good, pizza was great...only downside was $34 for the large. This was high for this type of pizza which we've had in many different cities.
