Went here recently with my parents to enjoy the nice day and get some fall activities in. It's nice that they let people 60+ in for free so my parents didn't have to pay, and my basic ticket was $10. The all-inclusive pass is $25 but frankly this isn't really worth getting except for families looking to use the children's attractions like the slide and bounce house. There were plenty of chickens wandering around, as well as ducks, pigs, and other assorted barnyard animals in various pens which were fun to see. The pumpkin launching thing was a blast though $10 for three small pumpkins to fire is pretty pricey. The apple cider donuts were expensive too, 2 for $5 for small donuts. Thankfully the short hayride experience was included in the admission. While this was a cute experience, I think the main draw is for families with young children who would make the most use of all the activities here or older folks who are able to enjoy it for free. Otherwise, there's not much for those in their 20's-40's to do, though I did enjoy the brief time with the pumpkin launcher. If you have kids, definitely come! I usually only put the cheap pumpkins outside.) Personally, I'll stick with college farm. This farm did seem to have a lot for children to keep entertained & sold clothes, fresh eggs, & other jams, etc. (For kids, I prefer Dardens. The owner loves to educate kids & allow them to touch everything. They have breast cancer pink pumpkins that they donate money to fight breast cancer. They also have great pies & smoked ham.)

We came that night w a drink and sat on the deck and enjoyed sitting on the water. We left for dinner and came back after we ate. We sat on the deck until close enjoying a gorgeous sunset. The owners, Elley and Terry are just awesome people. They love the island life and want the best for the community. We really enjoyed talking to them. We were going to book some of the private experiences but they were sold out so we just did the regular farm tour. So glad we did, because as it turned out everyone else who booked at that time except one other couple were late, so we pretty much got the place to ourselves! Our favorite part was feeding the kangaroos, capybaras, and the tortoise. And we got to pet/hold hands with the baby river otters through the fence! They also have horses that we loved scratching, and also porcupines, sloth, prairie dog, donkeys, camels, alpacas, zebras, emus, and an ostrich. The highland cow was off somewhere else apparently about to give birth. Purchase your tix online in advance before you go. Once to the driveway, you have to open the gate, drive through, then close the gate so the animals don't escape! Park just down the driveway near the port-a potty. The owners were really nice and helped teach us about the animals. It was a very hot day and not much shade, but the perfect detour on a long car ride.

This place was a lot of fun!…read more When you get to the entrance there is a closed gate stating you must have a reservation and a QR code to tickets. You then have to open the metal gate, pull through, and close it behind you. There are loose animals in the parking area so it is pretty important to close it behind you! There wasn't any signage for parking, but when you drive down to the dumpster and port-a-potty, that is where you should park. We got to see the horses, rams, camels and donkeys that were loose in the parking area before going to the sloth enclosure. We also went into the kangaroo enclosure, which also had two capybaras and some porcupines in separate enclosures that you could pet. After that there's a hay rack, that is hooked up to a truck, that will drive you out to the big pasture. We got to feed the big buffalo, camels, zebra, and cows. We loved how hands on this place was, it could use some updating and better signage for parking, but we will definitely go back to this place!
