Older infants is for children 12-18 months. The transition was so smooth! He slowly visited the older infants class and was able to get to know the teachers and the classroom before he formally started. This classroom is all about routine vs the infant class where everything is done off baby's cues and their personal/parent routine. Our son quickly adapted and thrived off having a set routine. The other big change is being able to go outside to the toddler playground which is separate from the older children. When our son transitioned he was unable to walk yet but quickly picked it up soon after moving classes. It's amazing how the teachers are able to do so much with such young toddlers. From sitting all together for circle time, to the endless art projects, to gross motor activities. We are constantly kept up to date via the app and the teachers always tell us about his day at pickup. Our son loves his teachers and is always happy to see Ms. Chua at drop off, who welcome him with open loving arms. Ms. Iris always gives such great updates at pick up. And Ms. Yali has been such a great addition to the class. Overall, we'd one thousand percent recommend Primrose!

It feels like the issue is not being properly addressed, and at times I worry that incidents are not being fully communicated. I have even noticed bruises on my child. Another concern is behavior. My child has started using inappropriate language that we never use at home, which is very concerning. I am also disappointed with the level of care in basic situations. After pooping, my child was left uncleaned for a long time until someone finally assisted. Even my child called the teacher for help. Children at this age may be potty trained, but they still need proper help, hygiene support, and supervision. This has happened multiple times before. I do not recommend this school for your child. It is high-priced, but the level of care and service is not good for big kid.

His social skills have gotten better, he's made a bunch of friends, and he's learned a lot more than I expected at this age. The skills he is gaining impress me daily. I know some parents like daily updates on their child's progress, and you can get that here, but you have to ask for it. You won't get an email or a long conversation at pick up time everyday. But I just always check in with the teachers a few times a week and they're happy to talk with me or email with me. I just can't say enough good things about this place.
