I was not very excited…read morewhen we pulled up in front of a museum after a drive around the island, but in the end I was unexpectedly happy. The museum is free and offers a walk through of the old Commander's farm. The building includes history of the island, artifacts, and an in-tact whale skeleton. The island has roots going back to the Vikings and whaling, way before the tourism became the island's major industry.
